Marco returns to St. Olga's for an honorary degree but is racked with guilt that he is lying about being a princess as well as a rule breaker.
----
!!Tropes:
* AnswerCut: At the party at the end, one princess asks where Princess Smooshy is. Cut to her being tied to a machine and having her emotions sucked out by Miss Heinous.
* BittersweetEnding: The heroes successfully kick Miss Heinous out of the school and the princesses' faith in Marco is not broken by the reveal of him being a boy. However, Miss Heinous has captured Princess Smooshy to cut her losses and drained her emotions, becoming stronger in the process. And she is still at large, vowing revenge on "Princess Turdina"...
* TheBusCameBack:
** Princess Smooshy shows up again for a selfie with her camera phone.
** Miss Heinous crashes Marco's confession, along with Gemini and Rasticore's arm, now grown into a torso.
** Some princesses at St. Olga's were previously seen in "[[Recap/StarVsTheForcesOfEvilS3E10ClubSnubbed Club Snubbed]]", such as Princess Jaggs and Princess Spiderbite.
* CallBack:
** When Star tells Marco there's something he should tell the princesses, he does his rallying cry of "It's not criminal to be an individual", from [[Recap/StarVsTheForcesOfEvilS1E19StOlgasReformSchoolForWaywardPrincess the rebellion at St. Olga's.]]
** Rasticore has regrown into a torso from the severed arm he was back in "Heinous".
* ComicallyMissingThePoint: Miss Heinous declares that draining Princess Smooshy was barely worth it so she needs a much more powerful princess... and decides to go after Marco.
* DefiantStoneThrow: After Miss Heinous exposes Marco and gives a BreakingSpeech, Star reignites everyone's spirits by throwing a water balloon.
* DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything: Marco's revelation of his true gender is ''very'' reminiscent of a transgender person admitting their chosen gender, as opposed to the one they were born with.
* EmotionEater: Turns out, this is what Miss Heinous has been trying to do to the princesses the whole time--steal their emotions and convert them into power.
* EndOfAnEra: By this episode, Marco decides "Princess Turdina" has served her purpose; Marco intended for her to be a symbol of hope for the students to rally behind, and now that they have something to believe in, Marco decides it's time to officially retire her.
* {{Foreshadowing}}: Miss Heinous lets it slip during her speech that she ''needs'' the students, but only Star seems to hear. The end reveals that she's using them as a power source.
* HatedByAll: Miss Heinous exposes Marco as a boy and tries to take over the school once more, but the students still universally hate her, while Marco at worst lied for a good cause.
* IconOfRebellion: "Princess Turdina" has grown far beyond the man behind the wig and dress--she is an ideal. Marco decides to retire the persona and let her legacy live on in the students.
* ICantBelieveImSayingThis: When Marco decides to take Pony Head's advice.
--> '''Marco''': I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm going with Pony's advice.
* InelegantBlubbering: Ponyhead does this at the end after Marco has "killed" Princess Turdina by revealing who he really is.
* InternalReveal: The princesses learn Marco is not a princess and is a boy. They don't really mind. Heck, even Miss Heinous found out herself a while ago, which should've been obvious to her since her previous appearance.
* LiarRevealed: Subverted. Miss Heinous certainly thought that exposing Marco would cause the princesses to turn on him, but after getting over the initial shock, none of them really care and they remain on his side.
* MoodWhiplash: At the end, the princesses party again as one of them asks where Princess Smooshy is. Then it cuts to her in another dimension having her emotions drained by Miss Heinous, when the episode then ends.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: Though not a supernatural example. Miss Heinous' eyes are red from presumably a massive lack of sleep.
* SheIsTheKing: Fully gender flipped. Even though they now know he's a boy, and even though Marco is ready to retire Princess Turdina, the girls still give Marco the honorary title of Princess, crediting him for being the man behind an ideal they united behind.
* ShutUpHannibal: As Heinous shouts at the princesses to be silent, Star hits her face with a water balloon. It promptly inspires them to charge at the headmistress.
* VillainHasAPoint: Miss Heinous is not wrong when she says that the princesses' freedom turned the school into filth and that they have been lied to all along. Still it's much better than living under Heinous' rule. Of course, it all falls flat now that we know from the start she was feeding on their emotions to give herself power.
* WeWillMeetAgain: Miss Heinous is not done with Princess Turdina.
--> '''Miss Heinous''': I'm coming for you, Princess Marco Turdina!
* YouCannotKillAnIdea: Heinous clearly was going to [[MakeAnExampleOfThem make an example of "Princess Turdina"]], first by exposing "her" as a boy. By this point, Princess Turdina has become an ideal to the students, and all she'd be doing is bringing down the man who created her.
