* The poster that makes up the page image. Can you imagine swimming and seeing ''that'' coming up at you?
* For those who have phobia or fear sharks while watching the film in 3D, it would feel very uncomfortable during that one scene when a big shark appears onscreen, staring into the audience's souls and invading their personal spaces. Another occurs right at the end when a shark lunges straight at the camera, making the fates of surviving characters uncertain.
* Beth's death is horrific, to say the least. Cookiecutter sharks start taking bites all over her near naked body, latching on her like leeches, before one goes straight for her face and delivers the killing blow. And such sharks really do exist in real life.
* Just the reveal that sharks being in the lake was ''human work''. And the motivation? Because they wanted to gain fame online, through broadcasting the whole massacre to the world. Sabin mentions it's been a month after beginning, which brings to question of just how more people they managed to slaughter beforehand. Also, judging by Sabin's other line, he could be fine with ''children'' getting exposed to such snuff material.
* Sabin meets a grisly yet fitting end by being lit on fire, falling down in the water and getting eaten by a tiger shark. We get to see his face horribly burnt as he is maimed by the very beast he tried to have Nick killed by.
