!!tropes in red:
* AllLowercaseLetters: Her stage name is stylized in lowercase, and her album and all of her songs are also lowercase.
* BedroomPop: Some of her music is bedroom pop. She got her start releasing music on [=SoundCloud=] that she wrote in her bedroom.
* BittersweetEnding: "Too Much" reflects on an emotionally disconnected relationship that causes more dissatisfaction than happiness for the singer, yet ends with them, for better and worse, continuing to try for the relationship.
* {{Gayngst}}: Many of her songs focus on angst related to being a lesbian.
* IncompatibleOrientation: "i wanna be your girlfriend" is about falling in love with a straight friend.
* IndiePop: Most of the music she writes is categorized as indie pop, and she isn't part of a major label.
* IntercourseWithYou: "bad idea!" is about having sex with someone and instantly regretting it.
* LadyInRed: While her stage name implies such imagery and she often wears red, this is ultimately {{averted|Trope}}, as she doesn't fit the trope.
* SexyPackaging: The cover for the single "bad idea!" is a woman taking off her shirt, exposing her breasts.
* ThisIsForEmphasisBitch: As the singer grows more desperate in 'i wanna be your girlfriend," she declares her desire to be Hana's "bitch," emphasizing the pain of her unrequited love more strongly.
