Between that, being depressed over his face scaring everyone, and being scared of Bandit Keith, he decided not to come back to Duel Links anymore and gave Bella his Pumpking after returning her card. But Bella asked him to duel her, Joey apologized for the mistake and offered to duel him a bazillion times to make up for it, and Yami Yugi vowed to duel him as well, cheering Bonz up and making him stay. What really seals the deal is the card Bella lost was Shining Friendship, which reappears after the dialogue to symbolize their newfound friendship.
16	** Unlock Bonz and he'll tell you he's not into actual horror like Keith or Bakura, but more into friendly horror, hoping to master the Ghostrick deck because he only wishes to use horror as a means of having fun with people.
17	* The third Duelist Challenges event has some nice moments between Ishizu and Odion.
18	* If you lose to Tristan as Yugi, Tristan will show genuine concern for his friend and ask if he's feeling well.
19	* Of all characters, Yami Marik has several moments where he's kind to Arkana, complimenting his skills during his Ra event and offering to make him second-in-command if you duel him as Arkana. If you win, he praises his skills and hopes he continues to serve him faithfully.
20	* The second Monster World campaign revealed Tristan took on Yami Bakura to save Ryou Bakura, and when he has to be rescued, Tristan implores the player to teach him how to duel so he can help his friends more. If you duel Yugi as Tristan, he encourages him win or lose and is overjoyed to see him taking up dueling.
21	* Should Lumis & Umbra win a Duel, and for all their bickering, the latter will sometimes have this to say.

33	* Have Zane duel Crowler, and Crowler's first and foremost concerns are about Zane's health regarding his heart.
34	* Despite the Hell Kaiser persona, Zane isn't completely changed. He is happy to see Jaden (well, as happy as a BloodKnight gets), knowing Jaden can give him the duel he desires, and if you beat him, he'll say that Jaden will be the best at the academy. Jaden and Alexis also vow to turn him back to normal when dueling him.
35	* If Syrus defeats Zane, he'll straight up drop the Hell Kaiser act and be legitimately proud of his brother for surpassing him (a nod to season 4). Lose to him, and while Zane will still act like an [[{{Jerkass}} asshole]], Syrus will still have a love for his brother and hope he'll still remember the duelist he was and one that Syrus looked up to.

Jesse agrees to duel him, but notes [[YouAreBetterThanYouThinkYouAre he already has a strong bond with his monsters]], which delights him.
39	* During the Hassleberry Unlock Event, when Hassleberry freaks out and starts to be overcome by his dinosaur side, the GX cast just shrugs and decides they'll help him snap out of it. Even Chazz and Aster. TrueCompanions indeed.

But Jack knows that Yusei will be able to turn this deck full of random cards into something spectacular and they will get their epic rematch soon as both looks forward to continuing their rivalry in the world of Duel Links.
44	* When dueling against Jaden or Yugi as Yusei, Yusei's dialogue serves as a CallBack to Anime/YuGiOhBondsBeyondTime and how the two helped Yusei out in the last Duel of the movie. The Japanese version of the dialogue even has Yusei refer to them as "Judai-san" and "Yugi-san."
45	* Luna's unlocking speech has Ancient Fairy Dragon reassure her that her kindness and heart is what makes her strong, and she should duel with her friends and believe in herself.

63	* The Tag Duel event after Antinomy's release gives us a moment that we never knew we wanted: Yusei and Bruno dueling together.
64	* During Aporia's event, all of Team [=5Ds=] try to convince him to believe in hope again for the future and the event ends with him unsure if he does. Come Paradox's event, it's revealed that Aporia does believe that Team [=5Ds=] can change the future. They got through to him after all. And despite Aporia's repeated HeelFaceTurn, Paradox still respects his decision, harboring no ill will against his comrade.
65	* The end of Paradox's event: upon being dealt the final blow, Paradox realizes since his comrades believe in them, Yusei does have the power to change the future and bids the legendary duelists farewell peacefully.
66	** And the final scene of Yugi, Jaden, and Yusei. Yusei realizes he was right in saying they'd meet again, and thanks to the magic of Duel Links, they can meet each other anytime.
67	* The end of Z-one's event. After Z-one is defeated, he vanishes, making it seem like he's died again. However, in another part of Duel Links, it's shown that ''all four Iliaster Emperors are alive and well''. The last four survivors of the destroyed future are not only reunited at last, but the nature of Duel Links has given them a second chance at life, and this time they choose to use it to watch over Team [=5Ds=] and ensure they create the bright future they longed for but were never able to have. Whether they know it or not, Team [=5Ds=] succeeded in [[HeelFaceTurn restoring their hope]].
68	* Sherry's Unlock Cutscene starting from the Duelist Road depicting the finale of Ark Cradle. After joining with Akiza and Crow to unite with Yusei, her cutscene ends with her resolve to look ahead in her life.

79	* Yuto meeting Yuya physically after seeing that he is somehow separated as a physical entity is quite heartwarming since they never got to spend barely much time as physical beings.
80	** Moreover, as per event Interactions, they both stare at each other in silence before they remind themselves their reasons for Duelling.
81	* During Sora's event, Sora meets up with Yuto again, Sora apologizes for doing horrible things to Yuto and the Xyz Dimension. Yuto accepts his apology, since he saw everything that Yuya saw, so he knows how Sora fought alongside Yuya and Shay.
82	* The Wave Duel Scramble event coinciding with Shay's arrival in Duel Links finally gives ARC-V fans what many had been wanting for years: a reunion between him and Yuto. They team up alongside each other against the player, and when defeated, Shay remarks that the duel proved something: the Yuto in Duel Links is no fake. He's the real deal, back at last.

Duel Links finally allowed him to be reunited with Yuto, which gave him more hope that Lulu would one day return as well.
86	* With his event interaction with Yuto, while sharing concerns of Lulu's existence, Shay teases Yuto that his concerns are stronger than his familial care (which is likely romantic given how flustered Yuto is).
87	* Yugo's interactions with the rest of the cast in his unlock event, especially with his dimensional counterparts. When he's not in panic mode or stressed out searching for Rin, the interactions go to great lengths to show just how similar in personality to Yuya he really is. While Yuto had to slowly regain his memories of who he was due to the PTSD he suffered from the Fusion Dimension invading the Xyz Dimension, Yugo was fully aware of himself and the others' thoughts after having become a part of Yuya's soul, showing that he inherited much of Z-ARC's original empathy just like Yuya did. On top of this, he affirms that even though he ''used'' to be a part of Z-ARC, [[IAmNotHim Yugo is still his own person with his own life]] [[ScrewDestiny and has no intention of "becoming one" again]].
88	* Celina's event interaction with Zuzu will have the former be grateful to be her own being again. She's glad to have met Zuzu, since she gave her happy memories outside the academy and considers her like a sister.
89	* Even though Celina thought that nobody was waiting for her, everyone is very happy to see her, welcomes her home and promises they'll support her.
90	* Near the end of Celina's unlock event episodes, she hears about how Riley ended up becoming the vessel for Ray and sealing Z-ARC inside herself to finally end the threat he posed, giving up her own existence in the process and being reincarnated as an infant in the newly-formed Pendulum Dimension. Remembering how many times Riley saved her during the dimensional wars and learning of her friend's ultimate sacrifice, Celina resolves to see her again someday and bring smiles to her just like Yuya.

95	* In the Duelist Kingdom event, Ai tried to befriend the Tour Guide on the grounds that they're both [=AIs=].
96	* In Varis' event, Soulburner and Blue Angel are both willing to protect Ai after everything he's done, since it's what their respective Ignis would've wanted. The Gore, even though he's fighting for himself and not exactly on the [=AIs=] side, mentions he regrets what he did to Earth, and wishes he could take it back.
97	* The reveal in Ghost Gal's event that she's been friends with Akira Zaizen since his earliest days doing dirty work just to keep himself and his sister afloat after their relatives selfishly took everything away from them when their parents died. They both may present their relationship as strictly professional, but it's clear that they're very close friends behind the scenes and that their connection is a lot deeper than what the face value suggests.

102	* Playing Mimi against her son Yosh will have Yosh excited to Rush Duel against his mother, proclaming her as his own hero. The same thing goes for Good Yosh the Overcrusher. Even though it's supposed to be far more intimidating, he still makes the same proclamations in that rough and tough voice.
103	** Even better, Mimi and Yosh get to team up together during the January 2024 Tag Duel event.
