6	''The Exorcist: Believer'' is a 2023 horror film from director David Gordon Green, from a screenplay he co-wrote with Peter Sattler and Creator/DannyMcBride. It is the sixth film in the ''[[Film/TheExorcist Exorcist]]'' series, and a direct sequel to the original trilogy, as well as the first in a new trilogy. Creator/EllenBurstyn reprises her role as Chris [=MacNeil=] and is joined by Creator/LeslieOdomJr, Lidya Jewett, Olivia O'Neill, Jennifer Nettles, and Norbert Leo Butz.
