The writing for everyone is on-point and the pacing is great, but praise especially goes to how the story goes out of its' way to build upon Tontu as a character, showing how he warms up to Hilda and how he ultimately ended up living with her family.

The plot is incredibly intriguing, with little clues of Eric's past sprinkled throughout the story that seem like pieces of a puzzle that the readers can solve if they pay enough attention. The OCs in this Fic are likeable and interesting, the characters from the show are very well portrayed, and even though the plot mainly centers around Eric, the author isn't afraid to move away from him at certain points in order to focus on Hilda or some other character. The world-building is also excellent, always giving the feeling that there's a much bigger picture that we're just not seeing yet.
