Another interesting aspect of this fic is that the spotlight really gets put on the unpowered heroes – Question and Huntress are the primary main characters, but we also get Green Arrow, Oracle, Nightwing, a de-powered Black Canary, and plenty of awesome cameos or reoccurring side characters. Each chapter provides a satisfactory stopping point, and the side stories do a wonderful job of fleshing out the universe, especially [[http://archiveofourown.org/works/6930955 Only Ashes Remain]], which follows Question through the rise and fall of the Lords, and frankly, gives me a bit of a chill each time I read it. |
