War has just been declared after a terrorist attack wiped out the leaders of the United Nations between the Earth Alliance and PLANT but the first shot has yet to be fired. So what will happen when suddenly another UN organization from another reality arrives unforeseen?

In February 1st of Cosmic Era 70, war between the [=PLANTs=] and Earth Alliance is suddenly put to a abrupt halt by the "Tegmark event" in which the Scrin Threshold from the [[VideoGame/CommandAndConquerTiberianSeries Tiberium universe]] flung itself, Tiberium crystals, and along with portions of GDI territory and some Nod remnants into the ''[[Anime/MobileSuitGundamSEED Gundam SEED]]'' universe.

!!Examples of tropes in this fanfic:

* ZeroPercentApprovalRating: Eurasian Federation President Borski is taking flak by her political opponents for doing not enough to contain Tiberium. Their criticisms are right as forced mass evacuations in afflicted EF territories are put into effect as Tiberium continue to spread much to the Eurasian public's anger. Furthermore, some EF members do not like Borski's friendly relationship with GDI, as they perceive their alliance to GDI as kowtowing to a foreign power and threatened to breakaway from the EF.
* AllThereInTheManual: The fic provides a codex that explore an expanded background of the ''Gundam: SEED'' and ''Tiberium'' universes than their respective official franchises.
* AlternateHistory: The denizens of the SEED universe are shocked to learn the Tiberium universe of World War 2 was not a war between the Allies and Axis but a three way war between the Allied nations of Europe and the US, the Soviet Union and the Empire of Japan that ended in 1953.
* AlternateUniverse: The Tiberium Universe diverged from canon when GDI, after the Third Tiberium War, studied the Tacitus and use its information to developing space colonies to allow humanity survive from the threat of Tiberium and Nod. After the Tegmark Event occurred, this triggered the [[VideoGame/CommandAndConquerTiberianTwilight Fourth Tiberium War]] and, without the Scrin Tower, lead to Nod's annihilation and its survivors fleeing from the solar system but at the cost of untold millions of lives lost and undoing decades of land reclamations on Earth.
* ArmorPiercingQuestion:
** Rau Le Creuset contemplate on whether GDI's presence would stop SEED Earth's Natural-Coordinator conflict.
-->'''Rau Le Creuset:''' "Were they really different from the naturals and coordinators of this reality...? While they seems not to possess the hate that engulfed all of humanity, that evident enough from the Supreme Commander's words but to stop the hate and the fires of war from consuming humanity... would their threats be enough?"
** Rondo Mina Sahaku shares Rau's thoughts.
-->"Will they be willingly to go the length to stop humanity from destroying itself? Would they be willing to apply a firmer hand?"
* AwakeningTheSleepingGiant: The denizens of the SEED universe see GDI as an unprecedented planetary power who possess technology that is decades ahead and completely unheard of. The Earth Alliance is unwilling to launch their surprise attack on the [=PLANTs=] when GDI's fleet stands in between them and risking a costly two-front war. Even Patrick Zala share similar thoughts that antagonizing GDI would be a huge fatal mistake for the [=PLANTs=].
** GDI eventually show their teeth during their intervention in the Battle of the L4 Colonies [[spoiler:which led to their use of clean nuclear weapons to end a skirmish between [=EA=] and [=ZAFT=] forces.]]
* BadassNormal: The humans of the Tiberium universe. During a press conference where GDI shows footage on what training a typical GDI Commando goes through, the SEED universe reporters are shocked to learn a TrainingFromHell so tough that only a Cordinator can do it from their point of view, can be normally done by the humans of the Tiberium universe without genetic augmentation and that training has been done unchanged for 80 years!
* BiggerStick: GDI dominates in areas of technology that Orb, the [=PLANTs=], and Earth Alliance aren't able to achieve such as [[FasterThanLightTravel stasis-drive]] spaceships, atmospheric reentry vehicles, and PoweredArmor. Though most of GDI technology were [[ETGaveUsWiFi reverse-engineered from Scrin technology]]. Because of this, the SEED nations (especially the Earth Alliance) are scrambling to advancing their tech way ahead than in SEED canon.
* CrossOver: This FanFic is a crossover between Tiberium Universe of Command & Conquer series and Mobile Suit Gundam SEED.
* CultureClash:
** The views of genetic augmentation on humans by GDI and the residents of the SEED universe; in which GDI do not see gene alteration as an important issue in contrast to the FantasticRacism between Naturals and Coordinators. Also, the SEED military establishment's reactions to GDI's rules of engagement, such as the concept of WeaponOfMassDestruction being so liberally use on the battlefield.
** It's shown after GDI [[spoiler:ends a skirmish between the [=EA=] and [=ZAFT=] with massive usage of clean nukes]]. The SEED nations are furious with the blatant usage while the GDI acting as if it's normal (which is actually quite an [[{{Understatement}} Understatement]]).
* DidntSeeThatComing: While everyone understood that [=GDI=] was well beyond the capabilities of both the Earth Alliance and [=ZAFT=], NO ONE expected them to [[spoiler:end a skirmish via a '''Nuclear MacrossMissileMassacre.''']] Following this, everyone desperately tries to appease [=GDI=]/rein them in, mostly out of fear at seeing just how hard they will fight back if pushed.
* DivergentCharacterEvolution: [[spoiler:Owing to Kane not being present, the SEED-verse Brotherhood of Nod is more tempered in their views and is far more respectful of GDI, believing them to have earned the right to be the custodians of Tiberium.]]
* EveryoneHasStandards: Something noticed by the fans: while [=GDI=] and Nod both oppose each other and wish to destroy each other, that's as far as either is willing to go - both will happily accept the survivors of the other faction if/when they surrender. By contrast, the Earth Alliance and [=ZAFT=] are not willing to stop fighting until the other side is ''[[LeaveNoSurvivors extinct]]''. One fan even posted a scene where two Nod {{mooks}} note that they don't need to demonize the [=EA=] and [=ZAFT=], ''they really are that bad''.
* FalseFlagOperation: GDI gets involved in the conflict between the Earth Alliance and ZAFT during the Battle of the L4 Colonies without looking like the aggressors and losing trust with all sides by using a tractor beam to bring a single Moebius space fighter into their restricted air space, making it look like the Earth Alliance violated GDI's warnings not to enter their area, giving them justified cause to strike back against the Alliance. That same Moebius fighter, after leaving GDI's air space, fires on nearby ZAFT spaceships, whom mistakenly thinks GDI attack them which they retaliate but realizes too late it wasn't GDI, giving GDI justification to attack ZAFT for their unprovoked attack.
* FantasticRacism: As with the source material, this exists between Naturals and Coordinators. Part of the reason [=GDI=] takes some flak from the Earth Alliance is that they don't have any issues with genetic engineering or the large number of Tiberium mutants that are among its citizens. Even among [=ZAFT=], despite being unnerved and awed with GDI technological capabilities including stopping their N-Jammers, some of their leaders are still convinced they can beat GDI both in war and technology since GDI are just Naturals.
* ForWantOfANail: The Tegmark event appeared on February 1, CE 70 and the Bloody Valentine Incident is completely avoided. Since his wife isn't killed in this story, Patrick Zala didn't became a vengeful and natural-hating extremist and is more reserved and realistic (but still ruthless) in his perspective on the long-term effects GDI and Tiberium has on his universe. His son Athrun doesn't enroll in ZAFT.
* InsistentTerminology: The SEED denizens often interchangeably call GDI the UN. One character justifies this, stating that "The only difference between the UN and GDI is the difference between red apples and green apples. They're both apples, nothing is going to stop people from calling them the UN now and then."
* GodzillaThreshold: [[spoiler: In order to deescalate the L4 battle (and prevent GDI's prediction that Earth Alliance and PLANT will escalate the war and fight the otherside to the death (thus leaving the GUNDAM solar system weak and unable to survive against a Scrin invasion)), GDI starts using their fusion bombs despite the political and cultural taboo GUNDAM earth has on nuclear weapons]].
* InSpiteOfANail: [[spoiler:Despite GDI's best efforts, the Earth Alliance ultimately goes to war with ZAFT just like it did in canon]].
* KnowWhenToFoldEm: Patrick Zala, much to the surprise of his colleagues, stated to the [=PLANT=] Council that making GDI an enemy for the [=PLANTs=] is a huge mistake given that their advanced technology greatly eclipsed their's [[spoiler:and especially with GDI unhesitatingly ending a ZAFT and EA skirmish with nukes.]] Zala cautiously advised the Council to avoid provoking GDI if possible while continuing their war against the Earth Alliance.
* MassTeleportation: The Tegmark event.
* MythologyGag: The AlternateHistory of the Tiberium universe makes mention of a Second World War between the [[VideoGame/CommandAndConquerRedAlert Allies, Soviet Union,]] [[VideoGame/CommandAndConquerRedAlert3 and Japanese Empire]] that ended in 1953, and [[SchizoTech fantastic weapons created in their 1950's and 1970's]].
* NeutralGood: InUniverse GDI is trying to act as the middleman between the Earth Alliance and ZAFT while trying to contain Tiberium and making its intentions for the continue survival of the human race.
* NoSell: ZAFT's N-Jammers disruption of radio waves don't work on GDI's ships which catch ZAFT off guard when GDI was able to contact after the N-Jammers were used.
* NukeEm: Following GDI [[spoiler:ending a skirmish between the [=EA=] and [=ZAFT=] via massive usage of clean nukes]], public opinion of the Initiative ''plummets'' due to [[spoiler:their flagrant usage of nuclear weapons in a tactical engagement. Regardless of whether or not it is justified, usage of nukes is a huge warning flag to everyone]].
* OutsideContextProblem:
** The presence of GDI indirectly prevents Blue Cosmos from causing the Bloody Valentine Tragedy from happening, and thereby temporarily halting the Bloody Valentine War. Furthermore, GDI's history and technology from their native world is beyond anything that the SEED denizens can comprehend.
** Tiberium itself. It is causing so much drastic and hostile environmental changes to the Mediterranean region that nearly all the nations of the SEED universe agreed that Tiberium must be contained or else their world will become similar to C&C Earth. But all sides are reluctant or unwilling to work together to prevent the spread of Tiberium.
** The Brotherhood of Nod, who are keeping their presence scarce.
* PeaceConference: The Cairo Conference, where GDI establishes diplomatic ties with the major factions of the SEED universe and a temporary ceasefire between the Eurasian Federation and African Community.
* PreventTheWar: Averted. [[spoiler:Even if the presence of GDI and Tiberium shook the status quo of the SEED universe, war between ZAFT and the Earth Alliance, which had been brewing for years, would still happen regardless.]]
* QuarantineWithExtremePrejudice: GDI's standard policies towards Tiberium goes into effect. This means containing the entire Mediterranean region, including damming the Strait of Gibraltar.
* RidiculouslyFastConstruction: Some of the SEED factions, such as the Earth Alliance, were caught off guard of how ''fast'' the GDI were able deploy their vehicles and bases at such a short time.
* ScrewTheRulesImDoingWhatsRight: Realizing the civilians of the L4 Colonies might get killed during the battle between the Earth Alliance and ZAFT's nuclear arsenal, GDI does a FalseFlagOperation to give them just cause to force both sides to stand down.
* SpannerInTheWorks: The sudden appearance of GDI (and Tiberium) puts an immediate halt to the Bloody Valentine Tragedy and the Bloody Valentine War, for now.
* UnderestimatingBadassery: [[spoiler: A mysterious lady]] believes that since she controls the media, not even the GDI can stop whatever her plan is. [[{{SarcasmMode}} We all know how that went well for Nod]].
* WeAREStrugglingTogether: GDI's goal of containing Tiberium requires the cooperation of the Eurasian Federation and African Community, who are still sore over the Second African War. It also doesn't exactly help that both the Earth Alliance and ZAFT were gearing for war until the arrival of GDI and Tiberium.
* WellIntentionedExtremist: Rondo Mina Sahaku still hold her beliefs that her Earth is better off being rule under by Orb, with her family at the helm. She single out GDI as the only nation that she can trust because in her view it runs itself far more competently. But her only problem with GDI is that they ''lack'' the ambition to use its advanced weapons and technology to forcefully take control of Earth and guide humanity through the turmoil.
* WorthyOpponent:
** An Earth Alliance General (who's also a Blue Cosmos member) respects GDI, for not only surviving the wars and calamities their Earth went through but also for not resorting to genetic engineering to survive.
** Rau Le Creuset view GDI with a measure of humbleness for militarily enforcing peace in their world at all cost.
* WrongGenreSavvy:
** Both the Earth Alliance and ZAFT seem to think GDI is like their UN, talk big but is weak and unable to do anything. The Battle of L4 Colonies prove them wrong when Admiral Mu Wui of ZAFT tries to use the threat of political repercussions if GDI intervenes only for GDI to not only intervene in the Battle after both sides "attack" GDI's fleet but also use tons of clean nukes to force both sides to return to their respective lines, showing that GDI is actually UnitedNationsIsASuperpower.
