!!''The Queen of Monsters''
Also known as the Mother of All Monsters, the Queen is the progenitor of all the monster races, the true ruler of [[Characters/AdventureQuestWorldsChaos Chaos]], and Drakath's dark mistress. She gave up her humanity for ultimate power and has long been plotting her freedom via the Chaos Gate.
----
* AncientEvil: She's so ancient she [[TimeAbyss predates the current universe]]. Her first saga was even named "Ancient Evils".
* AnthropomorphicPersonification: Of Chaos.
* ApocalypseWow: [[spoiler:Her arrival causes the entire world to shatter and be gradually recreated]], with a full fledged ApocalypticMontage.
* BarbieDollAnatomy: In her first few appearances, she is essentially naked, but lacks certain pieces of anatomy.
* BigBad: She becomes this to the second story after finally [[spoiler:breaking free of the Chaos Realm]]. [[spoiler:Then comes Malgor to steal her position...]]
* BigBadDuumvirate: Forms one with Karok, agreeing to let him to conquer the world while she devours its heart.
* BrokenPedestal: The monster races once looked up to her and worshiped her as their creator. But when she finally returns, she brings ruin to all, including them.
* ChekhovsGunman: Her existence is mentioned in passing from the very beginning, but it isn't until late into the Chaos saga that she starts being discussed.
* DiscOneFinalBoss: Despite her run as a villain for 6 years [[spoiler:she is abruptly killed off at the end of her Saga, with Malgor taking her spot as the main threat.]]
* DystopiaJustifiesTheMeans: Her ultimate goal, so she can feed off of its suffering.
* EmotionEater: She feeds off of terror and misery.
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: Subverted. It is said the Queen is good to her children, but time and time again it is shown that she sees them more as tools and never mourns them when they perish.
** She resurrects Chamat after his demise, but her words afterwards make it clear it is more out of not wanting it to be a waste of resources rather than any true concern for him.
** Kolyaban appears to be the only being who shows anything resembling love to her, while being adamant the Queen loves her back. However, after her defeat, said Queen has no problem taking her back, breaking her apart and remaking her to be stronger.
%% * {{Expy}}: Of Nyarlathotep
* GlowingEyesOfDoom: Hers shine blue.
* GodOfChaos: She is a god-like being and the AnthropomorphicPersonification of Chaos.
* GreaterScopeVillain: [[spoiler:She is Drakath's master and the power behind Chaos. But she has thus far been incapable of interacting with the world directly]]. She finally becomes an actual BigBad at the end of the first storyline[[spoiler:, only for then to come Malgor and usurp her position, and herself to be mysteriously killed in the beginning of the finale of the second storyline]].
* HiddenVillain: In spite of her importance, she is hardly even mentioned or hinted at until the Lionfang arc.
* HumanoidAbomination: [[spoiler:She has an upper body similar to a human woman, but has tentacles for a lower body and looks close to an eldritch horror]].
* JustToyingWithThem: She sends the Hero a flawed creation to fight them to give the Hero false hope for her to play with.
* KilledOffscreen: [[spoiler:In her finale, it's revealed she has been decapitated and Malgor holds up her head. It's unclear who did it though as Malgor claims it was the Hero, but the Hero has no recollection of this happening. In the finale of the Plane of Monsters storyline, it is confirmed that the Hero killed her as confirmed by them once they recover the Queen's heart after having defeated Anka.]]
* TheManBehindTheMan: [[spoiler:Since she is currently sealed in the realm of Chaos, she is unable to do most of her own dirty work and has let Drakath provide Chaos's front face.]]
%% * MonsterLord
* MotherOfAThousandYoung: She is the one who gave rise to all of the monster races. She also has the ability to corrupt existing humans into monsters to serve as her minions.
* NavelDeepNeckline: She eventually wears a purple dress with such a low cut her stomach is exposed.
* OffWithHisHead: [[spoiler:After Malgor captures the Hero, they learn that this happened to her over the course of his Shadowflame army's emergence and attack.]]
* PhysicalGod: She brings apocalypse to the entire continent that the first storyline takes place in, forcing all of its inhabitants to flee as refugees. Even the former god of Lore didn't stand a chance against her at the peak of its power, despite having been the AnthropomorphicPersonification of Time, Death, Light, and Darkness at the time.
* SatanicArchetype: She tempts people with the prospects of power from another realm where she is trapped. Many of her plans involve releasing a BeastOfTheApocalypse. She even leads a literal army of demons in the Infernal Invasion arc.
* SealedEvilInACan: [[spoiler:In a previous version of the universe, 13 heroes and their loyal beasts sealed her into the realm of Chaos. Drakath has been chaorrupting the {{Reincarnation}}s of said heroes into Chaos Lords and recreating their beasts as Chaos Beasts to unlock the seals upon the Chaos Gate. Setting her free is his ultimate goal.]]
* ThisCannotBe: [[spoiler:She is left in a huge shock and a huge state of disbelief when the Eternal Dragon shows her a vision of her decapitated head being held by Malgor in the future.]]
* TimeAbyss: She is older than the current universe and originates from a previous incarnation of it.
* TranshumanTreachery: She was once human, but clearly doesn't consider herself human anymore, considering them little more than cattle.
* TheUnfought: [[spoiler:There was never a fightable version of her appearing in-game, due to her being abruptly killed off in her finale. At least, not until the moment Anka releases her ghost for you to fight as well as the "Queen of Chaos: The First Reign" saga where you get to fight her in a past timeline alongside the other twelve heroes that had a hand in her defeat.]]
* VoiceOfTheLegion: Speaks with echoes to her voice.
* WalkingSpoiler: She is a significant influence, but is hardly even mentioned. Just look at all the spoiler tags!
* WasOnceAMan: She was once a human woman, but gave up her humanity for ultimate power. [[spoiler:An ancient artifact called the Tears of the Mother were the final tears she shed before becoming a monster, and these tears have the power to cure chaorruption and even grant immunity to it.]]
* YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness: [[spoiler:She tells this to Drakath before abandoning him and stripping him of all the power she gave him]].

[[AC:The Queen's Elder Monsters]]
!!The Queen's Elder Monsters
The Elder Monsters are a group of secondary antagonists in the storyline Queen of Monsters: Ancient Evils alongside the Queen herself. They are different creatures affiliated with the Queen, who refers to them as her children. Each one hails from the Plane of Monsters, also referred to as the Realm of Chaos by Drakath, is spawned from the rift, serves as the main antagonist of one of the major chapters of the Ancient Evils storyline.
----
* ArcVillain: Much like the Chaos Lords and the Queen's Generals before them, the Elder Monsters served as the main threat of each chapter of the Queen of Monsters storyline.
* CoDragons: To the Queen of Monsters.

[[folder:Extriki the Destroyer]]
!!Extriki the Destroyer
The first of the Queen's Elder Monsters, Extriki is a massive Kaiju-esque monster out to poison all of Lore into submission.

'''Associated tropes:'''
* FantasticRacism: Bitterly hates all creatures from Lore that do not thrive on the poisonous nature of its kind.
* GenericDoomsdayVillain: There are no signs of it ever being sentient and it exists to just to end the world.
* TheHeavy: The main threat of "The Destroyer" Saga, though it is made clear it is under the command of the Queen of Monsters.
* {{Kaiju}}: It's certainly very massive, even towering over Battleon's Guardian Tower.
* PoisonousPerson: It can vomit poisonous green goo as a means of harming its chosen targets.
* PoisonIsEvil: It spits green goo that harms and poisons anything it touches, and it's the first of the Queen of Monsters' Elder Monsters.
* WeaksauceWeakness: [[spoiler:It later turns out that the reason it wants to poison Lore is because Lore itself is toxic to it. It takes the heroes and Shadowfall attacking it with a nature-bomb made from a Heart of the Glade from Brightoak Grove to weaken it severely before they actually bring the fight to it.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Kolyaban the Reshaper]]
!!Kolyaban the Reshaper
The first daughter of the Queen of Monsters, Kolyaban is referred to as the legendary first Darkblood by her race. Unlike the other Darkblood, she was immortal, so it's natural that, due to being tired of seeing members of her race die off, she went to be with her mother. She later resurfaced and now she seeks to change the very nature of Lore itself by turning people and creatures alike into even more hideous monsters.
----
* TheBeastmaster: She has control over her reshaped creations, such as the flies that serve as her eyes, ears, and voice.
* TheCorrupter: Her trademark ability is twisting and reshaping other creatures into monstrous forms.
* HornedHumanoid: She's the first Darkblood, so it's only natural that she counts.
* {{Immortality}}: Being the first Darkblood, she is the only one who lives forever.
* KarmaHoudini: [[spoiler:Gets away after Eremon takes the hit from Aria's attack that was meant for her, after promising to return to her mother's tower so the Queen can break her, rebuild her, and make her better. This of course means that it won't be the last we see of her, so...]]
* VillainousBreakdown: Loses her composure completely when [[spoiler:Aria attacks her in a rage to make her pay for the atrocity she committed against her of turning her into a monster and turning her against the heroes that she was friends with.]]
* YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness: Declares to Madra that she no longer needs her or any of the Darkblood that turned against her after the hero defeats the Hive monster.
[[/folder]]

[[WMG:The Queen's Generals]]
!!The Queen's Generals
The Generals of the Queen of Monsters are another group of secondary antagonists in the storyline Queen of Monsters: Ancient Evils alongside the Queen of Monsters. They are different elemental villains who pledged allegiance to the Queen and help raise the Chaos Titans across the shattered continent of Drakonus. Each General represents one of the different elements, and serves as the main antagonist of one of three of the major chapters of the Ancient Evils storyline, found on one of the eight different islands of Drakonus.

'''Tropes that the Queen's Generals have in common:'''
* AbortedArc: The Elemental Titans arc was meant to go on for longer, but it was promptly dropped before the Darkness Titan could be introduced, with the Queen instead turning interests to the Celestial and Infernal Invasions along with releasing her children.
* ArcVillain: Like the Chaos Lords, each of the Queen's Generals served as the main threat of each story arc on the continent of Drakonus.
** Tyndarius - Ring of Fire Islands
** Nevanna - Brightoak Grove
* CoDragons: To the Queen of Monsters.
* ElementalPowers:

The warlord of the Firestorm Onslaught and the Queen's Fire General. He is a pyromancer who signs a contract with the Queen of Monsters to free the Fire Titan Phedra, the first of the Chaos Titans.

'''Associated tropes:'''
* AnimalMotifs: The tiger, as well as the phoenix.
* ArcVillain: Of the Firestorm Onslaught storyline.
* BigNo: Lets this out when General Phyrz informs him that the priests of Embersea Isle are communicating with the Lady of the Waters, Neso, which triggers his OneWingedAngel transformation.
* DealWithTheDevil: Signs a contract given to him by the Queen of Monsters, and receives power for the Onslaught through it.
* DissonantSerenity
* EvilIsBurningHot
* {{Expy}}: Seems to be one of Escherion. Corinthian helmet? Check. Magical powers? Check. First of a certain type of major villain? Check. Puns directed at him? Check. Cylindrical-themed weapon? Check. Pretty similar!
* HopelessBossFight: Your first fight against him sees you realizing that his innumerable amounts of health will reset back to full health instantly the minute you drop it to zero. To proceed in the storyline, you're actually supposed to let him defeat you. The staff later modified him so that he hits you with a OneHitKill when you attack the impossible-to-defeat version of said fight.
** After that, however, his health goes down to about less than 8000 health, so you can defeat him as many times as you want much easier now (and even get a sword drop from him).
* PlayingWithFire
* VillainousBreakdown: Has one upon finding out that the priests of Embersea are communicating with Neso to help douse his flames. In fact, he gets [[UnstoppableRage so angry]] that it triggers his OneWingedAngel transformation that he uses for his second showdown with TheHero.

[[folder:Earth General Nevanna]]
!!Nevanna
A former peacekeeper from Brightoak Grove who was turned into the Earth General by the Queen of Monsters. She stole the Celestial Horn of Balance, causing the grove and the World Tree that feeds Lore's mana core to start rotting from within.

'''Associated Tropes:'''
* AntiVillain: Even with all the atrocities she committed against Brightoak without remorse, it was all because she was under the Queen of Monsters' control the whole time. [[spoiler:Once Aven frees her by purging her corruption from within her, she sees what she's done and immediately falls into grief. Poor girl.]]
* [[spoiler:BittersweetEnding: After being freed from the Queen of Monsters' influence by the ghost of her former teammate that she murdered earlier, she helps to set things right again by returning the Celestial Horn of Balance to the World Tree, which causes all her minions to instantly retreat and frees Gaiazor as well. On the flip side, she can't forgive herself for all the horrible things she did to her own home and people, so she decides to leave with Gaiazor and resolves to help prevent the same horrible events from happening to the other lands across Lore.]]
* BrainwashedAndCrazy: [[spoiler:Until after Aven frees her through DemonicPossession.]]
* CuteMonsterGirl
* [[spoiler:DemonicPossession: How Aven's spirit frees her from the corruption within her.]]
* EvilFormerFriend: To Aven.
* EvilGloating: [[spoiler:After killing her own former partner Aven to prevent him and the hero from recovering the Celestial Horn of Balance, she then gloats about her powers over nature with the horn in hand, as well as Brightoak's imminent fate and tells the hero to "be prepared to kneel" the next time they meet before summoning a terrible monster in place of Aven's corpse. And yet her evil gloating is only due to her being BrainwashedAndCrazy!]]
* {{Expy}}: Apparently seems to share similarities to Ledgermayne. Plant-like female body? Check. Threatening the magical properties of Lore? Check. Committing a heinous atrocity in front of the hero to prevent the good guys from accomplishing certain objectives? Check. Having her actions taken more seriously than certain previous villains? Check. Once again, pretty similar!
* FaceHeelTurn: She was once a heroine who put her life on the line to protect Brightoak. Now she's been brainwashed into one of the Queen's Generals.
* FallenHero: She was once a pure-hearted peacekeeper who braved the harshest environments to protect Brightoak Grove. One day, she found Rivensylth's egg and protected it from monsters, until she was attacked by the Queen of Monsters' minions, losing the egg in the process. She was captured while she was unconscious, and was made into the Queen's Earth General, stealing the Celestial Horn of Balance that was providing the residents of Brightoak with healing powers years later.
* GreenThumb
* HeelFaceTurn: Even after her most despicable act committed against Brightoak and Aven, she's still freed by his spirit, and fights on the good side again afterwards.

%% commented out as Administrivia/ZeroContextExample * BadassLongRobe
* BigBadDuumvirate: Forms one with the Mother of All Monsters, though with the full intent of betraying her later. He keeps true to his intent when he gathers his horde to invade Cryostorm and search for the Champion of Ice without her permission.
* [[spoiler:EnemyMine: After being defeated for the third time by the hero, he reveals to them that the Queen stole his powers, allowing them to win more easily the last time they fought, and convinces them to form a temporary truce with him so that once the threat of the Queen has been dealt with, they can finish the fight.]]
%% commented out as Administrivia/ZeroContextExample * EvilIsDeathlyCold
* EvilMakesYouMonstrous: The magic of his world makes you what you choose. As he grew increasingly twisted on the inside, it was reflected in his appearance.
* FallenHero: He once fought to protect his world from invaders. He sent away his wife and children for their safety, but they were captured by the enemy. The enemy offered to return them in return for his army. He gave in, and they sent back their corpses. He fell to an UnstoppableRage and wiped them all out. His original army came to fear him and he grew increasingly monstrous.
%% commented out as Administrivia/ZeroContextExample * GlowingEyesOfDoom
%% commented out as Administrivia/ZeroContextExample * InTheHood
* LesserOfTwoEvils: He is less of a threat than both the Queen of Monsters and his brother Kezeroth, being willing to ally with the heroes when they have a common interest.
* LetsGetDangerous: He really doesn't mess around when he decides to have the heroes face the full might of the Frostspawn Horde once Laurissa and Thermax arrive and bring reinforcements with them.
%% commented out as Administrivia/ZeroContextExample * MalevolentMaskedMan
* ManipulativeBastard: Manipulated Syrrus and the hero into using the seven elemental Starstones to open the Horologium gate so he could lead the Frostspawn horde to attack Lore.
* ObviouslyEvil: [[EvilIsDeathlyCold Deathly cold ice powers]], check... GlowingEyesOfDoom on his [[MalevolentMaskedMan mask]], check... horns on [[InTheHood his hood]], check... icy-cold SinisterScythe, check... You know this guy means business when it comes to evil.
* PowerGivesYouWings: He gains a pair of icy wings during his hunt for the new Champion of Ice along with his assault on Cryostorm Tundra.
* RelatedAllAlong: He reveals that he is Kezeroth's brother.
%% commented out as Administrivia/ZeroContextExample * SinisterScythe: And it's made of ice, too.
* TheStarscream: Hunts for the Champion of Ice in an attempt to surpass the Queen and it backfires spectacularly when she supresses his powers. It leads him to realize that he was not strong enough to manipulate the Queen, so he decided the best way to do that would be to reawaken his brother Kezeroth and take the Crystal of Glacera for himself.
* [[spoiler:VillainousBreakdown: When Abel attacks him with his own ice magic and the Queen of Monsters represses him following that, Karok loses it big time, and takes his anger out on her when he finds out that she did so.]]
-->[[spoiler:'''Karok''': [[YouExclamation YOU!!]] You weakened me somehow... suppressing my powers! This was '''your''' doing!!]]

[[AC:The Titans of Lore]]
!!The Titans of Lore
The Titans of Lore are majestic, legendary elemental creatures residing in Lore that were created by the Elemental Avatars when Lore was still young. They make up different parts of Lore itself, and were meant to protect the Avatars who created them. Alas, not all Titans were content in their role of protecting Lore. They fought each other as well as dragons and crushed lesser creatures. In time, they became threats, not protectors, until the Avatars put them to sleep.

Ever since then, Loremasters have been collecting tales, stories, and rumors about the Chaos Titans since the foundation of the Council of Loremasters. Although most of the Loremasters were killed in the many months since the Queen of Monsters was freed, one Loremaster, Maya still lives to travel with the heroes, keeping the ancient tomes close at hand.

As revealed by Tyndarius, one does not simply hurt a Titan. The Titans make up Lore's flesh, blood, and bones, and thus cannot be destroyed without shattering the world itself. Not even a champion, avatar, or god must ever actually hurt a Titan. There are eight Titans, and each Titan possesses its own different element. They are raised at different points on each of the eight elemental islands that make up the shattered continent of Drakonus by the Queen's Generals. Once all eight Chaos Titans awake, the beginning of a new era will be at hand, and the heroes will regain their powers as the Eternal Dragon of Time.

'''Tropes that the Titans of Lore have in common:'''
* TheDragon: They are most likely to follow the same rule that the Chaos Beasts had during the 13 Lords of Chaos saga.

[[AC:The Infernal Army]]
!!The Infernal Army
The Infernal Army is a massive group of unholy demons that are enemies with the Celestials. The Infernals had not been a threat to Lore for millennia until Chamat, a bounty hunter in service to the Queen of Monsters, set them loose upon Lore, starting with their attack on the Celestial Realm. One year later after their initial defeat, the Infernals stole massive amounts of Celestial weapons and began using them during their invasion of Lore.

'''Associated tropes:'''
* BigRedDevil: Has the rough appearance of one.
* CameBackStrong: He claims that every time the Hero beats him he gets stronger, and the Queen of Monsters won't allow him to die.
* {{Determinator}}: This guy always comes back for another round every time he's beaten, and with every form he changes into, he gets somewhat stronger than he already really is. He just doesn't know when to call it quits.
* JokerImmunity: He is the one villain who the Hero can't kill no matter how many times he gets beaten.
* LightIsNotGood: In his case, he has a golden version of the Enchanted Blade of Light. And he's evil, without a doubt.
* ObviouslyEvil: RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver? Demonic wings, horns, and other features? A wicked SlasherSmile for his third form? RedEyesTakeWarning? You just don't get any better than that.
* RecurringBoss: Is fought three times throughout the Infernal Invasion storyline. Interestingly, he changes form every time he comes back for a rematch.

[[folder:Drayko Lancer]]
!!Drayko Lancer
A Dracomancer who plans to awaken the massive dragon Dakka and unleash more fear upon the world with it for the Queen of Monsters. He seems awfully friendly, though.
----
* AffablyEvil: His allegiance to the Queen of Monsters is the only thing that makes him evil. In fact, he's so funny and genuinely friendly that it makes it hard for players to realize whose side he's on.
* FusionDance: With Dakka, following the hero's removal of the Cursed Gem of the Forest from its mouth, after which he tries to swallow the hero whole (thank goodness [=BattleBark=] managed to put a stop to that).
* HereWeGoAgain: After completing the whole Living Dungeon quest chain at least once, he pushes you out of Dakka's mouth, which is where the whole adventure begins again.
* PowerGivesYouWings: He's able to sprout wings and fly, being a Dracomancer and all.
* RedEyesTakeWarning

* GlowingEyesOfDoom
* LaserBlade: His weapon of choice.

----
* AffablyEvil: He's commanding an attack on Northpointe during the 2015-2016 New Year's celebration, yet he seems more interested in fighting a really strong opponent than following the Queen's orders.
* BadBoss: Takes his anger out on one of his minions when he questions his reckless behavior of refusing to wait for the alliance's defenses to fall to his faction's hands.
* {{BFS}}: His weapon of choice.

He manipulates Vaxen into attacking Lore with his interdimensional armies and later manipulates the minds and emotions of the people of Battleon during the Heroes Heart Day 2016 event. Not to be confused with the Chaorrupted Faust from Mythsong Canyon.
----
* TheChessmaster
* DarkIsEvil: You bet.
* {{Expy}}: Appearance wise his human form resembles [[Anime/DeathNote Light Yagami]]. His manipulation skills aren't too short of him either.
* ManipulativeBastard: He manipulates Vaxen into invading Lore.
* MeaningfulEcho: When Vaxen asks who he is, his answer echos that of the Mysterious Stranger.
-> '''Faust''': I? I am no one. But you are someone I find very interesting.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: Has these in two of his forms.

----
* AmazingTechnicolorPopulation: He has white skin, as shown on his face[[spoiler:, until it turns into the usual peachy-colored skin of humanity seconds before [[YouHaveFailedMe the Queen punishes him for his loss against Miko and the heroes with the death penalty]]]].
* BlackEyesOfEvil: His eyes appear to be all black with no visible pupils [[spoiler:(at first, anyway)]], and he's definitely evil.
* DarkIsEvil: He's named the Shogun of Shadows and he's siding with the Queen of Monsters.
* DualWielding: Wields two katanas in combat.
* FauxAffablyEvil: He claims to be deeply caring for Orochi, but in fact, it was corrupted by the Queen, and when it was hit by Miko's healing magic, he's really trying to corrupt it again.
* RedBaron: Jaaku is known as the Shogun of Shadows.
* {{Samurai}}: Yep, he's clad in samurai armor and he wields a pair of samurai katanas. What else would you expect from the Shogun of Shadows himself?

!!Associates
[[folder:Vaxen]]
A creation of the Shadow Council, a warlord created from relics of the most powerful most evil villains from throughout the multiverse. He is used as a puppet by Faust and the Queen of Monsters, manipulating him into attacking Lore.
----
* AllYourPowersCombined: He is made up of "''[[VideoGame/MechQuest Lord Valoth's]] strength, [[VideoGame/EpicDuel Caden's]] intellect, [[VideoGame/AdventureQuest Carnax's]] limitless power... fueled by [[Characters/AdventureQuestWorldsShadowscythe Vordred]] and [[VideoGame/DragonFable Sepulchure's]] endless hatred''"

----
* HornedHumanoid: What else would you expect from a Darkblood?
* LightIsNotGood: [[spoiler:Wears light-themed clothes, so you'd think he's a good guy, right? WRONG. Dead wrong.]]
* MyMasterRightOrWrong: [[spoiler:Despite the horrible atrocities Kolyaban committed by turning Aria into a monster and turning a few Darkblood into a horrific monstrosity, Eremon refuses to betray her, and refuses to let anything hurt her or any of her abominations.]]
* SenselessSacrifice: [[spoiler:Saves Kolyaban from being hit by Aria's attack, which is VERY stupid considering the terrible thing that the very first Darkblood he sought to find did to Aria earlier, [[KarmaHoudini leading Kolyaban to get scot-free]].]]
