The third relevant military and government force that appears in the story. The Enchawah Corp. is a MegaCorp holding an alliance with the EDF, [[spoiler:[[DefectorFromDecadence at least for a while]]]], and most of their citizens are formers members of it, and they play an important role in the last part of the first StoryArc and during all the second arc when [[spoiler:they helped the EDF to find the destroyed human ship, while investigating the technology behind it]].

!!Tropes associated with Enchawah Corp.:
* CompanyTown: Their planet of [[https://www.stevegallacci.com/archive/edf/2017/03/31 Endly]] is organized as a company town with few non-employee residents.
* DefectorFromDecadence: [[spoiler:The entire corporation breaks the alliance with the EDF after finding out they tried to kill Dr. Elaki Kalahahaii and also trying to destroy Arrat's ship, causing Enchawah Corp. to even taking some members of the EDF as prisoners as retalation]].
* {{Expy}}: Some of Enchawah Corp. actions resembles a lot like [[Franchise/{{Gundam}} Anaheim Electronics]], except Enchawah Corp. is basically a country on their own, compared with AE, not to mention Enchawah is allied with the EDF, unlike AE who normally provides weapons to all the sides of the conflict. [[spoiler:And unlike what happens with AE, Enchawah Corp. decides to part ways from the EDF in less than amicable terms after the EDF tried to cause mayhem in their ranks]]. Also, Enchawah ''does not'' [[PlayingBothSides play both sides]] compared with AE.
* InformedFlaw: According with the tabletop games and some extra info, Enchawah ''does'' have a dark side, and it's stated their workers (and citizens too) doesn't have too many rights compared with the EDF's worlds, but we never see this in the comic. Taking into account Gallacci consider the games as LooseCanon, this is understandable. Oddly enough, Dr. Elaki Kalahahaii mentions about this when she meets the CEO of Enchawah later on, but it's never brought out again in the comic.
* MegaCorp: Enchawah Corp. is basically a Japanese-style Zaibatsu who controls everything like a country could do.
* MildlyMilitary: Unlike with both the EDF and the ILR, Enchawah Corp, doesn't have a strong military discipline due to its roots as a corporation, but that doesn't stop their armed forces being as efficient like any other army.
* OneNationUnderCopyright: They are basically, for all practical effects, a country with their own armed forces, mostly formed by former members of the EDF. Unlike other examples of this trope, they are portrayed in a more positive light and they even [[spoiler:break their alliance with the EDF after experiencing firsthand how corrupt the EDF has become]]. It helps that they're employee-owned and thus effectively indistinguishable from a democratic socialist republic.

[[folder: Arrat's Crew]]

!!Tropes associated with all of them:
----
* AllThereInTheManual: The last names of Lees, Illnya and Frieda are revealed in the ''Females of Albedo'' fanbook.
%% * BadassCrew
%% * TrueCompanions

!!Captain Itzak Arrat
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/002ade0ec20cc2b1fe059aad0835b68a.jpg
A battleship captain member of Enchawah and a former member of the EDF after he deserted during the aftermath of the Chishata massacre and after finding out how hopelessly corrupt the EDF are. He was Erma's classmate in the military academy and his family are very good friends with the Felnas.

----

* ChickMagnet: Even more than Erma, albeit he lags behind Toki on this. Unlike both girls, he doesn't see too interested on finding chicks at first, until ''The Net'' of all things teased him bringing ''lots'' of them in one issue.
* {{Deuteragonist}}: He represents the military side of Enchawah Corp. and also the point of view of the events from their side, alongside Dr. Elaki Kalahahaii.
* DefectorFromDecadence: Defects from the EDF after finding out they're trying to cover the Chishata massacre and after the EDF itself tries keep him quiet about it.
* DistaffCounterpart: He's basically a male Erma, except being a member of Enchawah Corp. rather than the EDF, and also being a horse.
* AFatherToHisMen: He ''does not'' take it lightly when someone hurts his crew. Used for dramatic effect after returning home when he found the truth about the Chishata massacre, after losing half of his crew due to booby traps set by the ILR in that place, and a corrupt EDF officer orders Arrat about forgetting about the incident. His inmediate answer is '''punching him in the face'''.
* MeaningfulName: His name is one of the many ways to spell the Hebrew name Yithzak or Isaac. The name has two meanings that both could be applied to him, taking into account his background:
** The [[Literature/TheBible biblical one]]: Isaac in the Old Testament is the son of Abraham, God tested Abraham's faith by ordering him to sacrifice his son, though an angel prevented the act at the last moment. In a reversal of the biblical one, Itzak decides to sacrifice his loyalty towards the EDF, meaning he can't return home again. Just like the biblical one, he also had a father (Joseph), who is powerless for reverting the situation of his son.
** The [[UsefulNotes/ArabIsraeliConflict historical one]]: It's possible he was named after the late Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, who ordered the famous Israeli raid on Entebbe, Uganda. Just like his human counterpart, he's a military leader, albeit not a political one, but unlike his human counterpart, Itzak Arrat defected from the EDF after finding out the corruption inside the EDF, while Rabin resigned after a financial scandal.
* PrettyBoy: Sorta, as he is of same age than Erma, but in-universe he is pretty attractive to girls.

----

!!Illnya Ludadpik
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/illnya.jpg
A weapon specialist working for Arrat and Frieda's crewmate. She's also notable for being the only character of the story involved in a same-sex relationship, something that shocks Frieda, as homoerotic relations are a new thing in the setting.

----

* ButchLesbian: Her personality and looks gives this image. Oddly enough, in the ''Females of Albedo'' fanbook, she is portrayed as having a quite feminine body.
* FoxFolk:, Specifically, an artic fox.
* HideYourLesbians: Averted like hell with her, much for Frieda's shock.
* NotSoStoic: Illnya always gives a very stoic image about herself during the entire first arc, but that was broken when she finds out [[spoiler:Dornthant was attacked by the ILR, killing millions of people there and forcing her to fight into a war]].
* {{Tomboy}}
* {{Seme}}: Heavily implied when she reveals to Frieda her sexuality.

----

!!Frieda Rangoon
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/frieda.jpg
The security and battle management specialist of Arrat's crew and Illnya's closest thing to a friend.

----

* TheBigGirl: She's taller than Illnya and many of the Arrat's crew, save for Arrat and Chinnah themselves.
* EroticEating: One time on shore leave she starts a fight among several male canids just by sitting there licking a ration bar.
* GenkiGirl: Not at Toki's levels, but she's always happy and in good spirits.
* IncompatibleOrientation: Somewhat, since she's not "homophobic", at least not in the classical sense of the word, as homosexuality is practically a new thing in the setting, but she has problems to grasp Illnya's sexual orientation out of ignorance rather than any kind of malice, not that Illnya seems to matter, for obvious reasons.
* NoSenseOfPersonalSpace: She's too lively for her own good, causing to piss the hell out the rest of the crew with her antics when she tries to get too close with her crewmates.
* {{Tuckerization}}: Named after a late pet dog owned by Lex Nakashima, Gallacci's personal friend. Curiously enough, that dog had even the same ''last name'' as well.
* WolfMan: Siberian Husky, to be precise.

----

!!Lees Koschusko
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lees.jpg
Another member of Arrat's security crew along Dru and Frieda.

----

* TheCutie
* FurryFemaleMane: Due to the fact she's a Pomeranian, she sports a quite large one.
* NiceGirl: Compared with Dru and Illnya, albeit she can a {{Jerkass}} sometimes when someone put her in her bad side, like Frieda.
* {{Ojou}}: According with [[WordOfGod Gallacci]], it's implied she's one.
* {{Tuckerization}}: Named after another late pet dog of the same name and the same breed as well.
* WolfMan: Pomeranian.

----

!!Dru Clark
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dru.jpg
Yet another member of Arrat's security crew and one of the few ones who takes his job very seriously.

----

* FurryReminder: Terriers are notorious for being very independent and stubborn dogs, and it shows with him.
* GunNut: To the extreme.
* {{Jerkass}}
* {{Tuckerization}}: Named after ''yet'' another late pet dog of the same name and the same breed as well.
* WolfMan: Terrier.

!!Dr. Elaki Kalahahaii
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/b73e12f9b091be8469369835c1476558.jpg

'''Rank:''' None (Civilian Xenobiologist/Civil Service Grade 7)\
'''Birthplace:''' Darren\
'''Date of Birth:''' SD 159-12-23\
'''Species:''' Feline (Bobcat)]
A xenobiologist and the chief leader of the EDF/Enchawah Corp. expedition [[spoiler:on checking out the human spaceship and the contents of it]].

----

* AgentMulder: Her job as a scientist trying to find clues about the Creators requires her being this.
* CatFolk: Bobcat.
* {{Deuteragonist}}: She represents both Enchawah and civilian's point of view of the events of the plot, along Arrat.
* {{Expy}}: While she precedes her by a ''decade'', she shares lots of points on common with [[Anime/NeonGenesisEvangelion Ritsuko Akagi]], including having similar professions and similar goals. The only notable difference between them is Elaki is a much decent person compared with [[MadScientist Ritsuko]] and her goals are more noble in mind, not to mention [[spoiler:being completely sane, compared with her ''Evangelion'' counterpart]].
** Retroactively, she also shares similar points with [[Manga/AttackOnTitan Hange Zoƫ]], albeit not as [[AdmiringTheAbomination exaggerated as Hange does]].
* ForScience: A very heroic example.
* InformedFlaw: According with her character sheet in the RPG games, she is described as basically as a {{Jerkass}} with everyone outside her immediate family, but we don't see her doing anything anti-social at all. Possibly the closest thing regarding this is during [[spoiler:the Ish-tako sub-arc when she was discussing with EDF members about the human spaceship when they started to became paranoid about the whole discovery]]. Taking into account she was dealing with ''soldiers'', her attitude is understandable.
* NonActionGuy: She's the only named protagonist character who is not a soldier, a leader, or a politician. Her role in the story is investigating the origins of the Creators from a civilian perspective, rather than a military one.
* NonStandardCharacterDesign: A downplayed example: Most Feline characters, regardless of their race, keep many shared traits with the rest of the anthropomorphic characters, including having more human-like features. On the other hand, Elaki and her family look somewhat more different like any other character of the comic, even when compared with Avians: For beginners, her hands and arms are somewhat bigger and thicker than the rest of the cast, her eyes are more cat-like, in stark contrast with Erma and other Feline characters, who had human-like eyes and her body frame is somewhat different. In fact, with the only exception of her feet, which are still human-like, and her tail, she could be easily compared with a cartoonier [[VideoGame/TheElderScrollsVSkyrim Khajiit]].
* OlderThanTheyLook: From all the deuteragonist characters, she's the oldest of them (42 years at SD 201). Being an anthropomorphic allows her to age with more grace than an human, and only her personality can give a clue about how much old she really is.
* ThePhilosopher: After [[spoiler:finding the female human corpse]] she engage on philosophical ramblings at times.
* SheKnowsTooMuch: [[spoiler:The EDF, possibly to try to silence her about the whole thing of the human spaceship after the information about the whole issue was stolen from her mind by an ILR Talent spy, tries to murder her by setting a bomb in her laboratory, while she was investigating the nanomachines used in the human corpses. While she survives, the explosion caused the nanomachines to infect her, but she decides to keep them in her body, just to check out how the nanomachines perform in her body.]] It turns out [[spoiler:[[TouchedByVorlons those nanomachines helped her to quickly heal her wounds, despite suffering from almost crippling injuries]], including possibly losing an ''eye'', but she gets it restored without any problem thanks to them]].
* [[spoiler:UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: Hadn't her memories been read by Tetsuwah, not only would she not have been targeted for death by the EDF, but it's very possible the [[WhamEpisode ILR attack over Dornthant]] would not have happened either.]]

----

!!Tetsuwah
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tetsuwah.jpg
A male Feline xenobiologist trying to befriend Dr. Elaki Kalahahaii in a party. [[spoiler:It turns out he's a spy working for the ILR and also a Talent, sent with the sole intention of stealing info about the derelict human ship straight from her mind, causing her being targeted by the EDF. He's killed by Enchawah's security forces when he tries to escape.]]

----

* CatFolk: Bobcat.
* [[spoiler:ChekhovsGunman: Despite only appearing in a single issue, he's one of the many factors that caused the WhamEpisode to happen at the end of the first arc.]]
* [[spoiler:FalseFriend: He only cares about befriending Dr. Kalahahaii to steal info straight from her brain via his Talent powers.]]
* [[spoiler:KilledOffForReal: The Enchawah's security forces turn him into a red smear in the floor by [[DeathFromAbove gunning him from a aerodyne]].]]
* [[spoiler:TooPowerfulToLive]]: Justified in his case because [[spoiler:having the most powerful Talent skill of all (mind-reading) in a setting when secrecy is ''paramount'', it's pretty obvious someone like him cannot live for too long.]]
* WalkingSpoiler
* [[spoiler:WeHardlyKnewYe: Appears in a single issue and he's killed by Enchawah's forces in the same one.]]

----

!!Chairman Amhast an Therka an Enchawah
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/445df5a36e0ce9e194b3e20623235114.jpg
The chairman and heir of Enchawah Corp. and the richest man alive in the setting. He makes his physical debut by offering Dr. Kalahahaii a safe sanctuary after [[spoiler:Tetsuwah stoled info from her mind, not to mention informing her she has become the target of the EDF after that]].

----

* BeastMan: Badger.
* {{Egopolis}}: A mild example, but the whole company is named after him.
* Fiction500: He's the richest being in the galaxy, being the owner and leader of his own nation-MegaCorp hybrid and the owner of his own space fleet, only behind the EDF.
* HonestCorporateExecutive: As far what we know about him, he's a very nice, humble and reasonable person, as he tries to protect Dr. Kalahahaii [[spoiler:from the EDF]].
* IDidWhatIHadToDo: He calmy tells Dr. Kalahahaii [[spoiler:he was the one who ordered the death of Tetsuwah after finding out his real allegiance and his job as an spy, leaving her really heartbroken]].
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure
