* The huge amounts of work put into all the analyses. These videos below are notable for its length near as long as a ''feature-length'' film!
** Using the nearly 10 hours of footage plus their own time with the demo of the game, they [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNP3eQ1ct1Q analyzed]] the gameplay, story and, most impressively, mapped out all the known land in ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaBreathOfTheWild'' with what looks to be surprising accuracy.
** With ''VideoGame/SuperMarioOdyssey'', they managed to make less than [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8e53zdoadv0 1.5 hours of analysis from a single trailer!]]
** [=GameXplain=] does it again for the ''VideoGame/SuperMarioMaker2'' reveal trailer, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Vk4JsniVSA with ''exactly'' 1.5 hours!]]
* The Game of the Decade 2010-2019. For each year, each member of the team involved first had to sell their choice with a [=PowerPoint=]-style presentation, followed by a response period where the other team members grilled them on the game's weaknesses. The result is hours of insightful and often hilarious debate.
** If there was any one presentation that truly stood out, it was Steve's [[https://youtu.be/9xCIYfiHMZI?t=1852 presentation]] for 2017 Game of the Year, which he gave to ''VideoGame/SonicMania''. He starts his presentation with inspirational quotes from Michael Jordan, John Rockefeller, and Martin Luther King Jr. and then transitions into a thirty second clip of the best aspects of the game. He then goes on to bring up quotes from his fellow [=GameXplain=] members and says how everything they look for in a good game is in Sonic Mania (A "10/10 bounce", more Sonic characters, a great soundtrack, and being surprisingly well compressed for the content it has). When the members start grilling him for his choice, his confidence shines through, especially when he turns a weakness Andre brings up into a diss at Andre's Game of the Year.
--->'''Andre:''' Not a ''single'' hitch. Those are powerful words for a game that features one of the worst 3D bonus stages in any 2D Sonic game. How do you defend that?
--->'''Steve:''' Sounds like somebody was bad at the [[VideoGame/SonicCD UFO catcher game]]. It takes skill, Andre.
--->'''Andre:''' It was boring and repetitive!
--->'''Steve:''' "It was boring and repetitive"? [[VideoGame/SuperMarioOdyssey How was collecting all those moons, Andre?]] There's ''a thousand''!
