Many developed nations are facing a crisis of aging as they have to support an increasingly elderly population with fewer young people to provide taxes.

Considered the [[CrapsackWorld sorry state]] South Park is in, one can assume [[AdvertOverloadedFuture the worst possible thing]] that the ads have done.
** Timmy is absent for the class reunion. He's been hinted to have hydrocephalus and [[BusCrash people with said condition don't live for too long.]] Though it's subverted when Timmy finally appears [[WesternAnimation/SouthParkPostCovidTheReturnOfCovid in the next special]] alive and well, his head smaller and walking with a cane, implying that medical procedures have advanced enough in the future for Timmy to cure his conditions.

* FunnyAneurysmMoment: The disocvery of 'Delta-Plus-Rewards-Program Variant' strain of COVID was probably done as a joke (or not, depending on your interpretation), but this joke feels a bit more unsettling considering that a new COVID strain emerged shortly after the episode premiered (which is now known for its handful of mutations, earning it a quick 'variant of concern' from the WHO), the ''[=SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant=]''.
