Dammerung: I actually had an argument RE: Monad's fate with my girlfriend. My thinking for her Ascending is the arms that reached down to grab her as she flew upwards combined with her obvious ecstasy. Plus, Daedalus was completely insane by that point so there was no reason to assume he was correct/truthful in his assessment of the effect of UV on her. Or she could have evolved in the interim outside of his knowledge. What do you think?
Jordan: I've been adding tropes as I've been watching this, but something confuses me. Are all the times where Vincent kills someone in his Ergo Proxy form actually Proxy 1 doing it? Because it's like I'd want to say that Ergo Proxy is Vincent's Superpowered Evil Side (although it's more like Vincent is the unpowered good side), or that they have Jekyll & Hyde going on, but I'm not sure.
Sneeb: We're not sure. I had reason to believe that Ergo Proxy and Vincent were two personalities in the same body, and Proxy One was the original from whom those two were cloned. Superpower Evil Side seems to suit the Vinny/Ergo problem at any rate.
