the grene kni3t: Other than being archaic terms for vague diseases, I don't think neurasthenia
and the vapours really fit here. They both seem to be more chronic and more purely mental or behavioral in nature, and do not seem to be brought on by a particular stressor, as brain-fever is. I'd say the "sudden feverish illness brought on by shock" trope occurs often enough to warrant its own page. "The vapours" is currently mentioned on the trope page for Fainting.
