Steven Howard: Removed this bit, as it's both irrelevant and wrong. The MPAA ratings system was instituted in 1968.

  • Movies didn't always do this do this kind of thing; you find a lot of exceptions if you look at the ratings of older movies. For example, the famous 1962 horror movie "The Haunting" was rated G and still managed to be scary. The 1999 remake was not scary.
    • This is quite a lot more difficult to do now (possibly impossible in the US), as the simple fact of some scenes being scary is now warned and does affect the rating.
    • The censors of 1962 might have changed the rating had they noticed that Claire Bloom gives the occasional lusty look to Julie Harris.

Ry Senkari: Just added the Nostalgia Critic quote from his recent Casper review as I thought it was absolutely perfect and quite hilarious. That brings the page to four quotes, but I didn't want to bump any of the others to a separate quote page (plus I was lazy). If anyone wants to bump one or two of the quotes (including mine), go ahead.
