Webvideo Disclaimer
There is no disclaimer. This series.....is....insane. In a good way actually. This series leaves you both flabbergasted and laughing your ass off. One of the best things about this series though is the editing/animation. This is the first (and only as of this review) abridged series that has earlier editing as good as the later stuff. Unless the later editing ramps up to super ultra HD or something like that, than the editing is amazingly good and consistent. The barely cohesive story serves as a good backdrop to the wildly insane and inane logic of this universe, with drop ins from Code Geass and Soul Eater to further illustrate just how rare something resembling Sanity is. I can't resist this series at all and the improvement I could think of would be to see more episodes of this series uploaded
Webvideo Best abridged series ever
I could say that this series is One Piece on drugs and be done with it, but that wouldn't do it justice.
Speaking as someone who hasn't watched many abridged series, None Piece is quite possibly one of the funniest things I've ever seen. As said on the main page, this series is what happens when you take the general idea of the abridged series and combine it with the general wackiness of a YouTube Poop. The jokes and antics are all well-written, the hammy and cheesy voice acting compliments said jokes and antics nicely, and the editing is slick and fast-paced.
There are 7 episodes, or 8 if you consider the two versions of Episode 5 to be separate episodes, all 4 to 7 minutes long (with the exception of the "Fanfic Mode" version of Episode 5, which is 11 minutes long). Therefor, I urge you to give this series a try and watch the first few episodes. Even if you don't like it, you're not really losing much.
Webvideo Where's my left shoe?
In one hand, I'm holding a bagel. And in the other, an apple. You're asking yourself: "But then how are you typing this?" To which I say, FUCK YOU I'M THE PRESIDENT OF ALASKA!
And that's the story of None Piece, or how I learned to stop caring about that damn ringing in my ears by eating turpentine.
Webvideo None Piece did to my spleen what 4Kids did to the original!
In a good way! Somehow, the mere fact that Luffy sounds like Sean Connery was enough to make me die of laughter. My reaction, to sum it up, was "GAH!" A portmanteau of GAR! and Holy s**t!
And then the cupcake..."eat me!"
Webvideo What happens when you cross Nappa from DBZ Abridged with Gan Xingba and Little Kuriboh?
You get this series. Did that comparison not make sense to you? It didn't make sense to me, either, but that's okay because this abridged series will make even less sense. But that's what makes it awesome.
Webvideo A Wild Ride
None Piece is a hysterically baffling piece of abridging content that ended way too soon. When it comes to rapidfire comedy this series is king, and practically every scene leaves a lasting impression that you won't soon forget.
