Isn't the point of OMM is no research. That series prides itself in that, so criticizing the series for no research is like criticizing AVGN for getting mad.

Yes, this episode is the Yang vs Tifa of One Minute Melee: Having 'heroes' brutally murdering another hero over things that they are blatantly in the wrong about, and then callously disregarding it after the deed is done.

Flash vs Sonic: Worst One minute melee
Naturally, when it comes to Death Battle and One Minute Melee, I’m neutral. Yeah, I know they screw it up a lot (Fitting, Screw-attack), but at least many of the fights have a plausible characterization, and are still interesting and fun.
But the Sonic vs Flash fight? My god, this feels so, fanficky! Flash appears out of nowhere, attacking Sonic friends, in self-defense or something. What the hell! This is Flash, he wouldn't do anything like that! He would simply stop them, and chat! He is a hero!
Then, the fight starts, and is... mediocre, to say the least. Sonic do his thing, Flash just do some punches while being ultra fast. They didn't exploit the speedforce, or many of his best moves! They make Flash feel like a generic speedster! And Sonic feel like a generic... Sonic.
Yeah I know this doesn't make much sense, but I saw better fights with Sonic sprites than this one on Newgrounds.
And out of nowhere, Sonic becomes Super Sonic, and kill Flash in a very graphic manner. This is just so mean spirited! Killing The Flash in a gruesome manner for doing nothing but self defense, making Sonic look like a monster!
This just feels like a very bad edgy Sonic fanfic, and it makes me think Screwattack needed to kill a Dc character for the Superman deal. This is very dissapoiting considering this is the same show that gave us Dio vs Sakuya Izayoi, one of their best videos.
Seriously, worst One Minute Melee of all time. Sorry for this rant.
