Probably my favorite MLP Abridged Series

To think that this spawned from another popular abridged series, Sonic F, as an Aprils Fools' Day joke, and eventually spawned a life of its own. Out of the three major MLP abridged series, this one, My Little Pony: The Mentally Advanced Series, and Friendship is Witchcraft, I enjoy this series the most, even though this has the least amount of episodes. (Then again, bonus points for using the Italian Friendship is Magic theme.) I think I like this abridged series the most because it's self-aware. It knows exactly what it is and doesn't take itself too seriously. In fact, Twilight's lessons revolve mostly around the genre, and the Elements of Harmony have been replaced by the Elements of Parody: Applejack bears the Element of Alternate Interpretation, Fluttershy bears the Element of the Straight Man, Pinkie Pie bears the Element of Fourth-Wall Humor, Rarity bears the Element of Comic Timing, Rainbow Dash bears the Element of The Homage, and Twilight Sparkle bears the Element of Faithfullness to the Source Material. Now who didn't cry when she delivered her speech at the end of "Elements of Parody"? Then again, there are some plot points that, although never really fleshed out, really caught my interest, such as Pinkie Pie being an ascended fangirl who gets to travel with Dr. Hooves. Or how about Applebloom, Scootaloo, and Sweetie Belle wanting to change their cutie marks? That would've made for an interesting plot! On the subject of characters, they're mostly in character, even our Mane Six taking on the Elements of Parody. Sadly, though, it died 3.5 episodes in, and Sonic Paradox is still trying to find ways to distribute this series. To be honest, though, if they do manage to make their grand return, I'll sure be looking forward to it.
