Yes, he did. He was an interesting character, but sadly, he wasn't really integrated even in Season 1. He could have been a better rival or ally, but he barely appeared.
Does "And you Thought It Would Fail" need to be changed now that the show hasn't been renewed for a second season?
Hide / Show RepliesI'd say so.

There was a bullet point about this that got deleted. Any reason why?
Which bullet point?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanIt just mentioned that in spite of all the above points the show hadn't really connected, cost a lot of money to make and was losing viewers.
I'm a bit confused about this Values Dissonance example; how is the name "Supergirl" non-PC? I'm considering removing it but want to make sure I'm not making a mistake.
Hide / Show RepliesAye, that is one odd example IMO.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanFor the sake of argument, the case may be made that the use of "girl" is somehow diminutive compared to "woman". Kara is by most standards, an adult, a grown woman, and so may rightly object to being called a girl, as if to suggest her age isn't sufficient for her to be treated as an equal.
Name-brand recognition and separate, existing characters called Superwoman aside.
I have no opinion on the subject, so whatever works. :-)
Edited by Eagal You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Okay, so the wording of this is getting edit warred over:
- Anvilicious: The show's tagline basically amounts to "See?! Girls can be superheroes too!". However, given the many disparaging comments the trailer is already getting from male comic book fans, this might be a preemptive case of Some Anvils Need to Be Dropped.
Specifically, the last line. Hash it out here, folks. Stop edit warring.
Personally, I see it was a Justifying Edit that doesn't add anything to whether it's anvilicious or not. Thus it wouldn't really have a place here.

Hide / Show RepliesIf you feel the need to say it's Some Anvils Need to Be Dropped (which, no they really don't, but whatever floats your boat) then put it under Some Anvils Need to Be Dropped. As Larkmarn said, it's a Justifying Edit to shoehorn it into Anvilicious.
Justifying Edits is the entire point of Some Anvils Need to Be Dropped in the first place, so go nuts.
Edited by Eagal You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! Also that. Though I must admit, I find Some Anvils Need to Be Dropped to be one of the most pointless tropes we have since by definition every Anvilicious aesop has someone that thinks that (specifically the writer). But that's neither here nor there.
