I saw my edit was deleted for lacking context. While I'm happy to provide it, it would technically count as an edit war if I were to add it back myself. I'm putting it here so someone else can add it in my place.

• Counterpart Comparison: Fans of A Certain Magical Index tend to notice more than a few similarities in Strike the Blood. Both star a male teen (Touma/Koujo) with a unique relationship to a female teen (Index/ Yukina) that drew the attention of a powerful secret organization (The Church of Necessary Evil/The Lion King Organization) due to their special abilities (Touma's Imagine Breaker/Koujo being the Forth Progenitor) . The protagonists both live in a City of Adventure where the majority of their series' plots take place (Academy City/Itogami City), and both series mostly use a Girl of the Week formula to tell story arcs around. The protagonists also form a Battle Harem out of the girls they end up meeting or rescuing.
