- Fan-Preferred Couple: The remake ups the Ship Tease between Leon and Claire considerably. Combined with the fact that they're both unbelievably cute and have a lot of genuine Nice Guy/Nice Girl energy, this meant many players ended up wishing they got together in the end instead of the canonical hook-up of Leon/Ada.
- Foe Yay: There is a significant segment of the fandom who ship or make erotic memes featuring Mr. X and one (or both) of the game's protagonists whom he chases. Yaoi Fangirls and bi/gay men like the Guy on Guy Is Hot implications of Mr.X/Leon, and both heterosexual men and women show interest in the fantasy of a strong man chasing a vulnerable young woman.
Once again, being true, I can't see why they are being deleted. Hide / Show Replies
If you think they belong, stick them back in. More generally, if something that you like is deleted with no reason given, replace it immediately with a comment similar to "Deleted for no reason."
AFAIK, that's defined as an Edit War on this site and is bannable. Whether or not there's an edit reason does not matter if you're the one who originally added it.
Yes, strictly speaking it's an edit war so bringing it up in the discussion is the right thing to do.
But given there's no reason given, I do think it's safe to add back. So we've currently got a 3-0 consensus on readding so even if the deleter comes here, they're already outvoted.

- Crack Pairing: There is a significant segment of the fandom who ship or make erotic memes featuring Mr. X and one of the game's protagonists whom he "chases" after. Yaoi Fangirls and bi/gay men like the Guy on Guy Is Hot implications of Mr.X/Leon, and both heterosexual men and women show interest in the fantasy of a strong man chasing a vulnerable young woman.
- LGBT Fanbase: Leon has gained a sizable admiration from bi/gay men (and Yaoi Fangirls) who fantasize about he and Mr.X being an Uke/Seme pair. Game mods and fanart in which Leon undergoes severe Ukefication have given rise to the Fan Nickname "Twink Leon" in the LGBT community.
Being true, I see no reason why they should not be readded. Hide / Show Replies
I don't think Mr. X is terribly "crack," at least. Foe Yay is a thing and Mr. X's pursuit having rapey undertones isn't really a stretch, especially in the RE fandom which has always had plenty of... well let's just say there's plenty of fanworks about the monsters. Plus there's the fact that the film version of Nemesis was literally the love interest of the main character, so Mr. X being paired with his pursuees doesn't strike me as that odd.
I'll take your word on Leon.

I am sorry I removed the Fan-Preferred Couple entry. I didn't look at the discussion page or history. However, it was decided that the games can't have on one the FPC cleanup thread a while ago. Here is a link. As Leon is given Ship Tease with everyone. Even in this game, there is no real canon one. As he and Ada don't get together and there's far more Ship Tease between him and Claire.
