Pulled these from It's the Same, So It Sucks:

  • Ironically, certain hints dropped during the game imply that it's the same girl. The timeline of Niko's hospitalization and death line up with Labrys's creation
  • It can be taken even further with the fact that both this game and Arena take a lot of cues from Persona 1: Labrys and Rei are Maki, and the warped Yasogami High in both games are Mikage-cho. Rei also exhibits nihilism like Maki did, and both were very sick in the real world, although Maki still lives. And while the first person dungeon gameplay is also a staple of Etrian Odyssey, it was also used in Persona 1, making the connection even stronger.

Mostly for natter, though also for misuse of ironically. Though that last bullet point reads more like a Surprisingly Similar Stories than an actual homage.

Pulled:

Firstly, Example Indentation. Secondly... it isn't. Damn near everyone prefers her new voice actress (it's even part of the reason she's under Rescued from the Scrappy Heap). Now, I'm not averse to adding her if it's actually true, but that's certainly not. And if I cut that part, then it's a Zero Context Example.

I say keep it the way it is now. If she's Rescued from the Scrappy Heap then she can't be The Scrappy at the same time.

She might have been a scrappy previously, though.
