For anyone interested, should we remove portions of this YMMV because the game's actually good and put them in a new page altogether?
Hide / Show RepliesShort answer? I'm not sure where the actual quality of a work weighs into YMMV tropes. That is largely why they are termed Your Mileage May Vary. You like Titanic? Maybe you do, maybe you can't stand it, but even if you hate it you could recognize the quality of the work. So if the game is actually good or strong we are looking more at audience reaction. We can say how some wanted it more realistic, immersive. We can say there was disappointment over options whether it be gameplay or guns. We can say that changes made disappointed fans. Maybe these changes were for the better but not according to some fans, hence why we have YMMV tropes.
