** While the "Tirailleur" war story does involve a group that suffered racism, for some reason the developers essentially made stuff up instead of actually depicting actual racism which is seen as a missed opportunity. (Especially since the reason for the Tirailleurs not being involved in the Liberation of France was actually due to America, not France but they did screw them out of their pay and that led to the often forgotten Thiaroye massacre.)

** ''Nordlys'' is pretty hard to take seriously in general due to the plot armor that Solveig has, surviving a large drop with only superficial injuries and somehow winning a hand-to-hand fight despite suffering from hypothermia.

* TierInducedScrappy: The Medic class. The only primary armament they have access to is the SMG, which pales in comparison to the more effective rifles, shotguns, and machine guns used by the other classes. The lack of weapon variety in turn means that the Medic is far less flexible at different ranges compared to the other classes (i.e. Assault can use either assault rifle for close-range or semi-auto rifles for long-range). In addition, squad members can now revive each other regardless of class, with the only penalty being a slightly longer delay on the squad revive, which ultimately makes Medics completely redundant.

* VindicatedByHistory: With the outrage over playable women having subsided, and ''VideoGame/Battlefield2042'' being panned for its gamebreaking bugs and its [[TheyChangedItNowItSucks unpopular changes]], many players [[https://win.gg/news/battlefield-v-player-count-surges-due-to-battlefield-2042-issues/ flocked back to BF V]], deeming it as a more authentic Battlefield experience.
