Took this out:
- * Excuse Plot: Great Blank, cable-runners, Photon Noise, yadda yadda yadda, now go kill these Mooks and collect ye some phat lewtz.
A full single player campaign with a large amount of dialogue and story does not an Excuse Plot make. This is a case of Square Peg Round Trope; it could be an example of Waste of Time Story, if most people avoid playing the single player campaign or care little for the characters and developments in it.

Trev-MUN: As per what I said at the Phantasy Star Discussion page, I've started this article to help split up the original page across the various sub-series. I've started a rough list of whatever trope examples I could think of off the top of my head; time to let Wiki Magic take over!
