The examples shown here could perhaps be salvaged with more context or used in other tropes.
What game mechanics, if any, make instant death possible with these games? Please be specific. For example weapons, hit locations, critical damage, direct one shot one kill weapons (like the Golden Gun in GoldenEye)
Does an Instant Death Bullet Occur in cut scenes, gameplay, or anywhere else in the game?
- Partially averted in Mafia: The player can tell when an enemy is out of health by them dropping their weapons and giving a particularly lengthy cry of agony before collapsing. Occasionally, some of the enemies will not stop moving completely, but crawl around helplessly for a little while before laying down for good. If the player so wishes, a couple of shots can speed this up.
Hey. It's been a long time since I played the game, but I don't recall any particular examples of Instant Death Bullet in this game.
