It should be noted that Mangle is female. There's a special setting under the Custom Night called "Ladies' Night" which enables only the two Chicas and Mangle.
Hide / Show RepliesBut Phone Guy refers to Mangle as male in his phone calls. For now I think the conflicting information is only enough to warrant leaving Mangle's gender undisclosed.
When asked "Is Mangle male of female?", Scott said "Yes." so it's definitely ambiguous.
During the last 10 edits (As of this writing), the caption for the picture has been changed from "Twice the Freddy, still not ready!" to "Are you ready for two Freddys?", corrected to "Are you ready for twice the Freddies?", and then changed to "Double the Freddy, still not ready!"
I think we may need a discussion on what the caption should be.
I do know what I'm doing. What I don't know is why. Hide / Show RepliesMight want to ask here.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanTheory: what if FNAF 2 and FNAF happened around the same time. I'm thinking that FNAF 2 took place in a Freddy Fazbear Pizza that was successful and was able to afford the new mascot models. But some older Fazbear pizza stores (FNAF 1) had continued to use the old mascots.
Hide / Show RepliesDoesn't work; the first game specifically makes references to the bite of '87, and the second takes place in '87. Nobody would go "oh it happened in 87" if it was still 87. Also, the pay is less in 2 than it is in 1 (and just so happens to be the right minimum wage for 87), which doesn't make sense that the worse off restaurant is paying their night guards more than the well off one.
Edited by 27.33.67.126Why it seems there is no mention of the glitched "Night 8"?
If there IS, any link to the page?
enduringSo, is Golden Freddy officially referred to as such in this game? I wasn't sure wether or not it was, but if t is, wouldn't it be Ascended Fanon?
Hide / Show RepliesIt's a nickname apparently.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanHe is shown on the Custom Night's menu as 'Golden Freddy' so it's more than a nickname at this point.
Is the game even a prequel? It's supposed to be the re-opening with the old animatronics in disrepair and all that... unless there's some freaky timetravel stuff going on here, there's no way it could be a prequel. Edit: ok, I've looked into it more and I'm more convinced it's a prequel.
Edited by 94.196.251.188 Hide / Show RepliesIt actually is a Stealth Prequel. This◊ comes up after you clear Night 6. Note the date on the cheque.
Edited by 142.134.40.172Did facial recognition technology even exist back then?
Hide / Show RepliesProbably not. Then again, the new animatronics kill you if you're not wearing the Freddy mask, so it doesn't even really seem like their facial recognition software is working, if it exists at all. Maybe whoever built the new 'bots was lying about their software in order to sell them.
Where's the Chica 2.0 picture? And who the hell tagged her with the Hotterand Sexier trope?
Hide / Show RepliesGood question ... somehow the 490 edits saved on the history page don't have that one so I can't see for myself.

I can see where it's coming from. The New Chica looks nothing like the old one. But hey, if you disagree just take the trope off. Don't start an uproar over it.
Edited by 104.180.160.109 It all good, just try to keep it that way. Neh?It's only mentioned that the "previous guard" was moved to the day shift, it wasn't actually stated that this was Mike. Considering the "see you next week" at the end of night 5, it could be him, presuming he got rehired when the place opened back up. But it also could be someone else. I guess we might find out when the game comes out?
Hide / Show RepliesIt does say it was also the guard who (managed to stay alive long enough to have) complained, and Mike Schmidt fulfills that description well enough. But yes, we'll find out eventually.
Under 'Obvious Rules Patch', there is an entry that even I don't know how to fix. I have a VAGUE idea of what the author intended to write, but the first sentence is so badly mangled, I can't be sure. I'm posting it here, so that maybe someone else can take a look at it. (Think of it as 'getting a second opinion', and not 'passing the buck'.)
'Looks like Scott has noticed some habits people playing the Custom Night of the original did. As both the Withered and Toy animatronics are programmed to leave in the order of Bonnie, Chica, then Freddy and there are no graphics of their rooms otherwise, the Show Stage and Parts/Service cameras are disabled during the custom night to prevent people hoping to prevent someone from leaving by disabling the previous ones by setting their AI to 0.'
EDIT: Never mind, I've simply deleted it for now. If I'm reading it right, it should probably be hidden behind spoiler tags anyway, since it essentially tells you how to cheat on the original FNAF. I'm going to leave this to someone with better English skills than mine.
