Well, the Flat Character entry contains clearly false statements. All the villains (except Cassius) have some motivation, even Gaius. However, the motivations are pretty shallow and thus the characters still pretty flat, so the entry might just need a rewrite. Maybe I'll look into it later.
(This refers to the version of the entry at the time of writing, viz.:
- Flat Character: Nearly all of the villains are completely one dimensional and lack any form of backstory or motivation for what they do. Even General Gaius is given absolutely no reason for wanting to destroy the Moonbloods beyond "because I can".)
The Cliché Storm entry needs considering too, but I really need to get off TV Tropes and do something else, now.
Edited by VVKRemoved stuff, here's reasons:
- Badass Normal: Jin. It's never revealed precisely how, but one pissed-off kid managed to slay a nation's strongest warrior single-handedly, although he died in the process. They're stated to have been bound together by having died at the same time, and the cover art depicts Cassius cradling a presumably-dying Jin in his arms, so it may have been a Taking You with Me surprise attack.
Cassius didn't have actual superpowers that anyone mentioned, so matching him would not make you Badass Normal. Besides, the whole point about how incredible (and frankly never explained) it was for him to beat Cassius was because he was so weak and should not have been able to do something like that.

Reverted removal of the Cliché Storm example from the YMMV and the Flat Character example on the main page. I'm considering this vandalism until "anonymous 738" comes forward with a justification.
