Can someone explain what makes the ending of Zero Hour an Ass Pull? From what I read on wikipedia it looks reasonable.

Could the GLA be considered a Diablous Ex Nihilo since there's barely any explanation for where they came?
So, everyone finds it funny the GLA has to buy shoes from the Black Market of all places, but it actually makes some sense if you think about it. If some Ruthless Modern Pirates hijacks a shipment of shoes, or that just happens to include bulk quantities of shoes, they're gonna end up on the Black Market at a price much below their regular market prices.
