I made a new edit adding Zircon's case. But I would be grateful if you edit that if you find any ortographic mistake. I'm not a fluent english speaker yet.
"Steven and the CGs are the supposed heroes of the story"
I think that's a little far fetched. Navy and her crew mates WERE the aggressors who worked for the faction that tried to destroy their planet. They had every reason to expect hostile intent given past experiences. Not to mention that the rubies were only stranded in space (by accident) because they attacked first. The team also planned to rescue them at some point (she didn't know that but that doesn't affect their hero status).
Edited by thevideogameempire"There's also the fact that Steven, the most empathetic and gentle character on the show, can't understand why Lapis doesn't trust Peridot after Peridot has firmly switched sides. To him, Peridot has really changed, but for Lapis, it doesn't matter: both the Homeworld Gems and the Crystal Gems abused her, so it makes no difference what side she's on or whether she's really changed or not. Of course Lapis feels betrayed, she's a bystander who managed to become a prisoner of war for both sides of the conflict and now her only friend is guilt-tripping her for not instantly letting go of all her anger at being imprisoned, interrogated, used and dehumanized for centuries. No wonder she lapses into complete apathy afterward, no one cares how she feels as long as she plays nice."
This was recently posted. I personally don't feel it is an accurate representation of the episode, but since it was immediatly replaced when I removed it for that reason, I post this here to get other opinions (because nobody wants an edit war...).
Edited by SeventhSkull You cannot hide. I see you. There is no life in the void. Only Death.@ the person who took out the lesbophobic entry from Hit the Diamond: thank you
I was actually going to do that myself but it looks like you beat me to the punch
Hide / Show RepliesNo. Nononono. THIS is the kind of shit that needs to stop in this fandom.
This show is all about relationships and healthy relationships. If we can't even point out on a YMMV page that Ruby and Sapphire's behavior was somewhat sad — that maybe they need to get together and have some Ruby and Sapphire time, as opposed to constant, continuous Garnet time — then something's seriously wrong.
[Edit: I have no idea why that posted twice.]

Edited by ElegantVamp You watch me, just watch me. I'm calling- I'm calling. And one day all will know... Hide / Show RepliesWell with this and Rose's Scabbard especially, she obviously has issues regarding Rose. And it wasn't just calling out Rose's name, it was the self-worth stuff and trying to instill that in Connie.
I cut up one dozen new men and you will die somewhat, again and again.Ahh, I see.
You watch me, just watch me. I'm calling- I'm calling. And one day all will know...Because it's for Audience Reactions to the main work.
