I'm thinking of going through here and doing some pruning. A number of the examples here seem to think that Reality Ensues=Darker and Edgier (like the example about The Boys; how is superheroes having corporate backing realistic?). Any objections?

Yeah, stick to "sudden realism". A realistic thing is not necessarily a darker and edgier one.
