Yeah, so I'm new to tvtropes and kinda suck at doing edits, as I recognize certain parts that should refer to other places on this site, but I have no idea what they actually are. The [[]] brackets don't seem to match the text displayed on the screen when I was trying to refer to previous edits, and I'm generally not sure exactly how things work.

In Dm C: Devil May Cry, a reboot of the Devil May Cry franchise, has in one of the first small scenes, an explosion cause a white wig to land on his head, causing him appear to look like the previous design of the character (which was used in all previous installments of the game), upon which, after a pause, he dismissively says "Not in a million years" and shrugs the hairpiece off.

Such as in this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-VU_7fC8PM

I have no clue how to write this, etc. but that's

Hi there! For text formatting help, see, well, the Text-Formatting Rules. (There's also a reference box titled "markup help" on the edit screen.) When [[ ]] brackets don't match the displayed text, that's likely because they're forming a pothole. To do so, one writes [[WikiWord display text]], giving display text.

Anyway, thanks for catching this example, and I've added a modified version of it to the bottom of the page; the one thing I'm wondering about is who the character in question actually is. Does it look alright, though?

That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.
