That elementary school example in the real life section is completely insane. Why lie?? In my country, we start from ancient history, teach the truth and normally, and we work our way to Vietnam war, where my last book ended and then had a "miscallenous" chapter about everything that happened after the fall of soviet union.

Wouldn't this make more sense if it was called Well THAT is not THIS Trope, since it is usually used on the trope's page, so the word THIS would be in a better position. we can always have a redirect for all the articles where it works differently.

What is missing will soon be in place!

Wouldn't this count as an attempt to defy a trope? After all, they're very much aware of the trope in question and they're Genre Savvy enough to know that said trope and they're actively trying to subvert the trope.

Time to become Crazy Awesome!
