One line in the intro bugs me, "This rule was created to avoid complaints from angry parents, self-righteous politicians and incompetent pop psychologists", seems a bit out of place, especially seeing as pacifism does fit with the trope as a whole. Thinking it maybe should be deleted.

Actually looking at it, the whole description could do with some tidying, it's got a kind of stream of conciousness feel going.
