Surely Wrex being an intelligent Krogan biotic should go under the Mass Effect example in the Video Games folder? He's considered unusual for his species in-game, even more so than the other (rare) Krogan biotics.

Ooops! I am a new to having a TV Tropes account. I didnot mean for Warcraft to be hyperlinked. The game I was trying to talk about is the sequel, World of WarCraft. Sorry about that. I followed the link anyway, and had fun learning about the story premisis. I dig the lore of Azaroth.

I also forgot to mention another example of the trope. At least the Forsaken can't be paladins. An unholy race and a holy class mix as well as oil and water. They may even get hurt and weakened by all the holy buffs. However that would not be practicle in gameplay. Forsaken players are no more vulnerable to holy damage than other races. It is just traditional for any kind of undead creature to be weak against holy. Lorderon is the current homeland of the Forsaken, but it used to be the place for paldins. It is posible for there to be human paladins. They could get killed and reanimated to Forsaken. However I hope they would be striped of thier paladin status. The perfect replacing class would be death knight.

P.S. I have tried to reply to my post, but it doesn't work.

LOL This is a cool and amusing trope. I love the picture of a antropomorphic bull trying to hide behind a bush. My favorite game is World of Warcraft, so I enjoy reading its examples. During Cataclism, there was a wider variety of possible race/class combonations, risking this trope further. It is great for giving the player more options. My pet peeve is night elf mages. This race has been harmed by the archane, so they historicly shy away from it. They prefer the druid and priest classes for thier magic use. Night elf mages is an odd throwback to the earlier times. The same thing can be said for orc warlocks, but that has been availiable since vanilla. I even have one. Blood Elves on the other hand were historicly arcane addicts. They can be mages and warlocks, and that is totally logical. The cases of a dwarf are not so illogical for me. They can be hunters, but the use of rifles make it more believable. They are also short enough to be less noticable, so they would make good (or at least decent) rogues. At least tauren and dranei are still the only races that can't be rogues. My oldest character for each race has a loophole. They are both at late fifties levelwise. Buffanda is a tauren druid. She can stealth and fight like a rogue when she turns into a cat. Nauloo is a drenei shaman. He can turn into a ghost wolf to travel in. It does look like it is in stealth, but it can be seen and targeted by other players. There is also wind totems, that improve meelee speed, which a rogue could have. Nauloo's main talent is Enhancment. The Cataclism has changed this talent to be more roguelike. It has become a high damage meelee talent. It also can't tank and take damage as well as it used to, making it a lot harder to play.

TRS thread that renamed this trope can be found here.

Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.

I thought it was old, injured elephants that rampaged. Maybe I'm confusing it with the man-eating tigers who are too old or lame to catch deer any more.
