Unless I'm very much misreading it, this trope is "someone loses a fight because they're completely insane," but it's being used to mean "someone loses a fight because they act irrationally in any way." Cases when someone loses a fight due to stupidity or allowing their emotions to get the better of them shouldn't be here.
There are enough examples like this, though, that I don't want to make a mass deletion for this reason without some kind of discussion taking place.
