The fact the page image isn't the 1-up mushroom makes me sad. :(

Sorry, but not every trope has to have an image from the Mario games or even the most iconic example.

I know that. But still. Also, saying "I'm sorry, but" makes it sound insincere.

Images have to illustrate pointedly the trope, or else they'll be just Just a Face and a Caption. The wiki has suffered from this immensely in the past, which is why efforts are being made so every page allowed to have an image can have one that tells the reader how the trope looks like.
