Nobody fills out a towel better than Julie Newmar in "The Marriage Go Round"
In the "Ce Ce Crashes" episode of "New Girl" Ce Ce, played by Hannah Simone, is depressed after a break-up and Jess lets her crash with her and her three guy room-mates. Hi-Jinks ensue. Ce Ce emerges from the shower telling Jess, "I can't find any bigger towels." All the guys had some excuse to be in the bathroom as Ce Ce is wearing the skimpiest towel she could on network television. "I'm very disappointed in you guys," Jess scolds.

Shirley Maclaine was reduced to a very skimpy towel in "All In A Night's Work" (1961) The towel scene was plugged repeatedly in this trailer:

In the film, Shirley gets the towel stuck in the elevator door and loses it.

Is there a sub-trope describing how in animated/illustrated works, the towel covering a woman is considerably more curve-hugging than physics would support IRL?
