A clarification about Smash. Only in Melee does the distinction between Meteors and Spikes include whether you can cancel the downward momentum, as meteor cancelling never returned in later installments. The other difference between meteors and spikes is launch angle, and apparently meteors actually send closer to straight down than spikes do.

Wouldn't this be closer to Air Combo or Aerial Smash rather than grabbing/summoning/materializing a meteor/ite and throwing it around/blasting towards an opponent?
