Cut the "Aversions" section. An Averted Trope is simply a trope that is not used in a given work. If you can list aversions of this trope on this page, then there is no work that can't be listed on this page somewhere. And the example list is long as it is.

Not A Fem Studies Major: Altering this from "Both" to remove some of the venom and correct the grammar:
- There's a series of commercials for a particular brand of alcohol where men use (false) sensitivity (e.g. walking a puppy which are themselves are handed out to guys en mass for just this sort of thing) to manipulate women into thinking they're not borish. The moral? Men are jerks and women are idiots.
From the main page:
Why is this whole sentence potlinked to Men Are Uncultured? I don't see how being a sports or vehicle Fan Boy in itself makes one uncultured. I should probably read up on that trope...
EDIT: Okay, read the trope. I'm guessing the main article was at least implying that the sports/cars obsession meant this trope was inherently in play, so to speak. So I'm assuming that means the flip side of this trope still applies (try picturing a guy from say, a Dodge commercial sitting through an opera).
