https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EG0wQRsXLi4&t=6s Someone just has to add this SNL parody of The Walking Dead with Dave Chappelle's characters coming face-to-face with Chappelle's version of Negan. I mean, Negan whacks off the junkie's head (forgive me Chappelle fans, I can't remember the character's name), and the head lands next to a rock, and goes "Hey Negan, which of us are you gonna hit? The suspense is killing me." Then, after an epic speech, where the body picks the head up, he complains about how he only has two months until "they" take away his health care. Got to laugh at it.
Edited by alockwood1Clarification needed: does this only apply if the injured person underreacts? Do we need a separate trope when others under-react?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IIgRvi3qv_c in "Friendship Friend-zy" episode of The Zhu Zhus Frankie's dad slips on a rug and falls backward down a flight of stairs into the basement.
Although Frankie and her mom have astounded expressions as he is screaming in pain, neither voices concern or attemts to help him. Ellen simply says they ought to do laundry while Frankie tends to her hamsters.
