* Westeranimation/StevenUniverse. In the episode "Steven the Swordfighter", Pearl begins to show Steven basic sword techniques by sparring with a holographic version of herself. Steven is not impressed, and repeatedly asks her to show some moves from a show he likes. Pearl begins to explain that those aren't REAL sword techniques, but gets so distracted during this, her holographic self straight up IMPALES her with the sword! Pearl looks down, then begins to reassure Steven that she'll be okay, before EXPLODING, leaving only her gemstone behind. She IS completely fine in the end, but it's a very jarring moment.

* WesternAnimation/Kaeloo, being a SadistShow that runs on FamilyUnfriendlyViolence, has a lot of these moments. For example, in one episode, Stumpy accidentally causes a bunch of arrows to shoot Kaeloo, Quack Quack and Pretty. Rather than scream in pain, they just glare at him, annoyed.

* TabletopGame/Warhammer40000 gives us Captain Alessio Cortez of the Crimson Fists, the least killable Space Marine in the Imperium. There's maybe two bones in his body that haven't been broken at least twice, he once disarmed an ork warboss by letting the weapon get stuck in his ribcage, received seventeen wounds in a single battle (including a stab through a heart), and then there's his reaction on being told he was missing an arm:

* Professional wrestlers have a concept called "kayfabe," originally meaning the portrayal of the events as real, but has come to mean the ability to stay in character despite anything that might happen, including horrific injuries that should lay someone out for months.

* Cactus Jack lost an ear mid-match with Vader. He kept going.
** MickFoley made a career of this sort of thing. His Hell in the Cell match with TheUndertaker he suffered a dislocated shoulder, a concussion, had a tooth pop out through the roof of his mouth and get stuck in his nose, a hole was torn in his lower lip, and he had dozens of thumbtacks stuck in his body by the end of the match. His reaction to all of that was not having one.
* Not to be outdone, Vader had his eyeball pop out of its socket during a match. He popped it back in and continued.
* This was one of Sabu's claims to fame, or infamy as the case may be. He was known for doing things like unwrapping the tape around his wrist to instead put it around his head hold his broken jaw shut, seriously injure a leg/knee/ankle and STILL do a half dozen jumping moves, or nearly cut his entire stomach open and just run out to the ringside and IAintGotTimeToBleed superglue the wound shut. The only time he actually seemed to care about being hurt was when he realized he broke his *neck* taking a back body drop wrong... And just left the ring long enough to be sure he wasn't completely paralyzed and then Determinator finished the match.

His 1994 Wrestling/WCW feud with Wrestling/Vader was exceptionally brutal, yet Cactus Jack never stopped. Highlights include a broken nose and dislocated jaw, another broken nose, a severe concussion, and losing a chunk of his right ear during a 1994 house show in Munich to the inordinately tight ring ropes.

]] Vader and Hansen are notorious as the stiffest workers in the history of the business.
