Just arranged the examples on the page. Wasn't familiar with all of them, though, so someone else might want to go through some of them to double check that I put them in the right places.

Pulled:

• Fitz from the Eighth Doctor Adventures novels almost entirely fits this trope, sans the sunken eyes, all-black wardrobe, and grim personality. He's definitely The Woobie, but he's often quite cheerful when the universe isn't picking on him. But he has dark, "squiggly" hair, "skinny white arms", and looks "as if he was made out of pipe cleaners". He also gets brainwashed so often that he starts making jokes about it.

Don't just put any scraggly characters here; messy hair and bags under the eyes alone do not make a Cesare lookalike.
