Cassy: What about L from DeathNote? There's definitely a resemblance.
Meems: I've just added him. I'm surprised he wasn't listed already, given Death Note's popularity.
Man Without A Body: Unfortunately, this page doesn't get much attention from anyone except me, and I'm not really the one to add anime examples. So that's why he wasn't listed yet.
Guesss Who: What about the Joker?
Man Without A Body: Joker doesn't have the muted colour scheme. He's more based on a different Conrad Veidt character.
Cameoflage: "Only add characters if you're pretty sure they're meant to evoke the original Cesare"? I don't think that's a fair request, since there aren't any other personal appearance tropes where it has to be a homage to the character who launched the trope in order to count (not even Looks Like Orlok).
- Also, I think River's borderline. Her hair's brown rather than jet-black, and if she's paler than the rest of the characters it's not immediately obvious, but she does have messy dark hair and bags under her eyes.
