This trope is a Catchphrase, kind of like a challenge. Pre Ass Kicking Oneliner is more like an "I am about to smash you to pieces" announcement.

Can this be called "battle entrance speech" instead? Though perhaps it could even have a better name in order to distinguish these from battle entrance speeches coming from announcers.

- Unbelievably, no one has yet to mention the Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat or Soul Calibur franchises, which — along with almost every other fighting game ever made — are famous for the often overused and (unintentionally) comically-delivered catchphrases of the combatants before nearly every match.
Don't write examples like this. Just don't.
