Currently, this trope page seems to be nothing more than a list of appearances of apples in fiction. We might as well rename this trope to People Eat Apples. There needs to be a clearer focus on one particular aspect of using apples in fiction, for instance the whole Forbidden Fruit thing.

What on earth is Faux Symbolism about the apple scene in Death Note. It's a God giving naughty power to a Human. It's extremely transparent.
