Y'know, I don't remember "End of Time" saying anything about the Doctor marrying Liz One. And the evidence (she's still known as the Virgin Queen) would seem to suggest history hasn't been altered that radically. My money is on "brief affair that ended horribly badly".

If anything, it's less ambiguous about the marrying than the sexing: "Got married, that was a mistake: Good Queen Bess! And let me tell you, her nickname is no longer... *ahem* Anyway."
Oh good, we have a trope for that. Funnily enough, I'm working on a story where a certain character does this to someone, made even funnier by the fact that the character on the receiving end of this trope takes him to be a stalker. Let's just say there's a buttload of irony in this.
