Did user interface fonts count? I see trends since 2011 onwards where a lot of games use period inappropriate fonts for the UI, like how Skyrim uses Futura and For Honor has user interface and fonts that based on the Assassin's Creed Animus (while For Honor didn't have such plot device and set entirely on the Middle or Dark Ages).
