Self-Imposed Challenge? if that doesn't fit you can try Trope Finder
well its less about the fact that he imposed it upon himself and more about the fact that ive seen it before but thanks for reminding me about the trope finder i completely forgot about that. i feel like if it existed it would have been mentioned in this article though.
if it does exist and i find it i'll just add it here like "Compare to real life core" or like "For when one death renders the game unplayable, see Real Life Core" or something. except instead of saying "real life core" it will say whatever the trope ends up being named.
if it doesnt exist then uh ill be back here haha
thank you again!!
basically i made this account so if i see an easy fix i can take credit for it also to gain exposure for my youtube channelit turns out its just the logical extreme. which is cool because that means i just have to edit the raocow example or whatever you call it which is a lot easier haha

Real Lifecore - ok so i'm not an article writer of any sorts so my only resort is to just mention it and possibly ask someone else to do it lol. no but for real i do have something to discuss. on raocow's (https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/LetsPlay/Raocow ) "self imposed challenge" section, it says how he does a "real life core" playthrough of a game which is harder than a final death mode in that once you die once, you can no longer play the game.
it seems like a sort of subtrope(is that a thing?) to final death mode, just more permanent, so even if i had the formal writing skill im not sure it'd be such a good idea to put it as its own ykttw. i think it'd be better mentioned as an addition to this article so that "real lifecore" actually links to something
it's not just about raocow though. raocow mentions in his video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_jf8vMgUm4 ) that he's seen it in other flash games, and i've seen it a few times. there was this one iphone app where if you died in the game once, you weren't allowed to play the game at all anymore. i didn't bother trying to delete and reinstall the game though because it was kind of cheap >:T.
if anyone else has seen this sort of subtrope or has any thoughts or ideas on how to mention it in this article or another article, please reply and stuff
