I disagree with the statement in the article that there are no works in which a good man redeems an evil woman. The fairy tale King Thrushbeard is a fine example. The princess is not merely haughty; she is rude, cruel, selfish, petty, unfeeling, and seems to have no redeeming virtues at all, unless one counts her physical beauty.

Should there be a mirror trope?

In other words:

Male Angel Female Demon?

Wouldn't this also be a Sub-Trope of Beauty Equals Goodness, because of how Angels and Demons are usually depicted (when not in disguise to test/tempt some poor sap)?

I'd say that's pretty accurate. Angels are always more attractive than devils in these sorts of pairings. But is it sort of unfair to say that this trope still applies even when both are androgynous?

Yeah, I'd say that's sort of unfair. It would be unfair to say something would be this trope just because the angel is prettier than the demon.
